“Stunning location”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2016

The property is very comfortable and for a studio apartment more than adequate for a short or long stay we rented for 11 nights ,we never tired of looking out over the ever changing view . I read the previous reviews before going which it meets all the previous reviews positive comments. The area around here is stunning and sitting by loch eck a short drive away is stunning with excellent beaches for barbecues etc . Car isn't essential but is an advantage to tour this area. We concluded our stay with a trip on the paddle steamer Waverley which picks you up at the pier outside the property well worth it . Overall this is a good value for money property in a stunning location with everything you may need . I have recommended to family members which says a lot . Thanks

Owner's reply: Thankyou for reviewing The Old Post Office, we are pleased you had a good holiday, loved the area & have kindly recommended us to your family.

“Did the Trick”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2016

Found this awesome place by accident & so glad I did. With everything & more you would need for a relaxing holiday or a more adventurous one in & around The Old Post Office it caters for the sole traveler or couple. With views to die for from outside your window to any distance you want to travel and Dunoon a short distance away if you want to eat out or get a carryout this place caters for it all. Stephen was there to meet me & have to say from the time of the enquiry to the day of arrival he was very pleasant & professional. Hope to go back again & see more of the awesome scenery.

Owner's reply: Hi Graeme, thankyou for holidaying at the Old Post Office and we are pleased you had a good time exploring the area and enjoying the wonderful scenery. Thanks for the great review, best wishes, and we hope to see you again.

“The perfect home away from home”

Reviewed 9 Jun 2014

This lovely little flat sitting on the water front at Blairmore was the ideal holiday flat - simply decorated, comfortable bed, great view, excellent kitchen, clothes washer and drier, great shower in bathroom. All the amenities you would wish for at a very reasonable cost. We stayed for ten days and found it easy to travel from Blairmore to surrounding areas including Glasgow, Oban and Kintyre. If you have no car, the bus stop is just across the road. The t-room nearby served the best fruit scones around and the coffee is excellent. We will definitely use this holiday flat again and again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review, we are pleased you had a lovely time and look forward to your return visit.
