“Relaxing stay”

Reviewed 21 Dec 2018

We stayed at this lodge in October, we stayed for 2 nights and wished it had been longer. Felt at home and relaxed as soon as we arrived. Most comfortable sofa and bed, didnt want to move but we did enjoy visiting the area. We had 2 children with us 5 year old and 7 year old and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay and ask to go back. Lots of dvds to watch. Very close to a train line but the trains didnt wake the kids up. Would return :)

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your great review, we look forward to your return visit. Best wishes, Jo & Dave.

“Primrose lodge, Blair Atholl”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2018

We stayed in the lodge for 2 nights when we went to see the near by Enchanted Forest at Pitlochry. The lodge was perfect for our stay with 2 young kids aged 6 & 18 months. With a good selection of kids dvds to watch when the weather was a bit too rainy to go out. Our youngest daughter loved watching the trains go by & we played guess when the next train will come game. So although the trains are quite close we soon got used to them. We would love to revisit the area in the summer months next time. And will definitely check the availability of the lodge out when we are booking our accommodation.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your review, and we look forward to your return visit.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in Primrose Lodge. Beautifully decorated and with little unexpected extras like slippers, dressing gown, dvds, toiletries etc for use it made a great and comfortable weekend to call home.. Lovely place to visit with plenty of walks around the area and beyond. Jo, the host was very helpful and was quick to respond to any queries I had. Check in/out was a breeze. I will certainly be recommending Primrose Lodge to family and friends. Thanks again Jo.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the positive review and we hope you return to Primrose in the future.

“Relaxing and cosy”

Reviewed 23 Mar 2018

Booked Primrose lodge for a long weekend away with the mother to let our hair down, relax, and this is exactly what we got. We love the heat so a fireplace was an essential for us and boy was it fantastic. Combined with the comfiest sofa ever, we were in heaven. I couldn’t fault a single thing, attention to detail was clear with the provision of dressing gowns, slippers, good range of films, warm duvet covers and most importantly cleanliness. If you are wanting some time to relax and wind down look no further. We will definitely be back.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your kind review, we really appreciate it and look forward to your return visit. Regards, Jo.

Had a wonderful family break. The lodge is lovely, couldn't have asked for more. Spacious decked area was great for us having a BBQ and celebrating our sons birthday. Comfortable and welcoming interior, little touches like a pint of milk in the fridge and dvds to watch on a relaxing evening mean a lot. A great base to enjoy this beautiful area with its many great walks and and activities for all ages. Met the owner on our departure, nice friendly chap who also owns the lodge next door, my sister and her family were staying there (poppy lodge). Would highly recommend.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your great review Linsey, we hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes, Jo & Dave

“Luxurious Lodge in a great location”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2017

Booking & Check In very smooth . Lodge was immaculate, spotless , well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. As it was Easter weekend we were provided with Easter eggs in the lodge upon arrival - a nice touch. The lodge was a great size and very homely. The park was very clean and laid out in a non regimented way rather than row upon row of lodges . The village had enough amenities such as 2 shops and if you wanted to eat out there was enough choice from the The Loft on site to the pub and takeaway in the park . We spent most of our time on great walks from the site , no need to take the car. Highly recommend this lovely lodge

Owner's reply: Thanks for the great review Mike, we are glad you enjoyed the lodge as much as we do, and we hope you will come back again in the near future. Kind regards, Jo and Dave.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The lodge was impeccably clean and the owners had carefully thought about what people would need. They had an update blu ray collection which my children really appreciated. I would highly recommend this lodge to family and friends.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the positive feedback Trudy, we hope you will return to Primrose Lodge in the future. Jo & Dave

“Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location.”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2016

We had a wonderful short break at this lodge, it was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is stunning and the lodge is in walking distance to local sights and amenities. The lodge was fantastic and well equipped for a family. The kitchen was perfect for self catering and the park itself has a great family friendly restaurant. The owners were really helpful and easy to contact. We would highly recommend this lodge and will definitely book again.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review. As this lodge has only been open a few weeks, it's great to get positive feedback at this early stage. We would love to see you again in the future. Jo & Dave
