'The Swallows' is a spacious and comfortable 3 bedroomed holiday home in an idyllic setting within the grounds of The River Tilt Holiday Park, 'Park Royale'. This is a five-star award winning park and is immaculately kept making it the perfect location for a wonderful break.
The caravan consists of an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen fully equipped with full size cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. The lounge has a flat screen TV, DVD and CD players and plenty of comfortable seating.
The property has a master bedroom with a double bed and a further two twin bedrooms, a large shower room and separate toilet are off the hall. There is great storage in all rooms. Bedding and towelling, full gas and central heating are all included in the price.
We have a lovely private garden which enjoys an extremely sunny position and a large back deck overlooking the River Tilt and the hills beyond. Both areas are provided with dining tables and chairs for great relaxation.
The park benefits from a heated swimming pool (17 metres x 11 metres), toddlers paddling pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
The Loft Restaurant and balcony above the pool offers a superb seasonal menu and is open for coffee, lunch and evening dinner.
The village of Blair Atholl enjoys a spectacular position set in the region of the 'Cairngorms National Park' surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Only 30 miles north of Perth, it is very easy to reach just off the A9 and also has its own railway station. The famous Blair Castle, ancestral seat of the Dukes of Atholl is only a short walk away and is well known for its own private army - The Atholl Highlanders. The castle and its beautiful gardens are open to the public for most of the year. The village itself is well equipped with two very good small supermarkets, gift shops, coffee shop with working water wheel, an excellent fish and chip shop and the Atholl Arms Hotel. House of Bruar is only a two mile drive along a lovely country road and with its impressive food halls, restaurant, and country clothing and gift halls, is well worth a visit. The Falls of Bruar is an amazing walk adjacent to the main shopping area and is well worth the climb. However, the whole area boasts a huge variety of walking from easy scenic walks to more adventurous ones, many of which are right on our doorstep all enjoying the wonderful scenery of the Scottish Highlands. There are a wide range of outdoor activities on offer in the area including white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, cycling, bird watching and lots more. Only seven miles away is the bustling town of Pitlochry. It is the most beautiful drive from the park and on the way you can access the 'Queens View'. In Pitlochry you will find a great variety of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and hotels, as well as many places of interest such as the Festival Theatre, the Fishladder and the Boating Lake. Cycle hire is available in Blair Atholl and in Pitlochry. This is a truly wonderful area of Scotland for the perfect break away.

Me and my family of 5 just stayed at this very nice and clean caravan for a couple of days and we all loved it. Everything was made very easy with good communication with Linda and she was full of information before we arrived. The loft restaurant at the end of the site was lovely as well. The only negative thing I would say is the early train going past in the mornings. But made no difference to our stay the whole family loved it.

The caravan is perfect and the family pass to the pool, hot tube, sauna and steamer is very cheap. All people in park is very nice, and we feel like home. We are in love for Scotland and we will return for sure. Obrigado Linda.

I had booked the Swallows for a group of professionals coming to work at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials, the location was perfect to allow us a short commute in the morning over the the estate while also giving a peaceful, relaxing space to come back and rest in preparation for the next day. Linda could not have been more helpful and accommodating, I would have hesitation in recommending the swallows to anyone for their holidays in a beautiful part of Scotland.

“Comfortable caravan. Great base for exploring area”
I stayed here with my husband and three children aged 7, 7 and 5. The caravan is very clean and comfortable with lots of home comforts supplied. There is also a lovely decking area to sit and enjoy the view. The park itself is well kept and peaceful with a pool/spa and restaurant. Well placed for Blair Castle. We enjoyed river walks, the working mill and the chip shop which has live music outside during the summer. Only stayed two nights but would like to come back again.

Lovely cosy caravan on a quiet site. Caravan extremely well stocked, comfortable and clean and we were made to feel very welcome. Loved our break here despite rainy weather the kids didn't want to leave. We will have to come back and stay longer next time.

The Swallows was a perfect home from home, great location with fantastic walks and cycle rides from the holiday park around Glen Tilt.On site restaurant and Bothy bar at Athol Arms hotel great for evening meals.On site swimming pool was a hit with grandchildren.Weather during our stay was glorious sunshine.

Had a great time here with our grandchildren. Caravan excellent with lots of extras .lovely decking at back and very secluded boys loved it .not far from a stoney beach which boys loved .will hopefully come back to this caravan.

“Beautifully appointed home in fabulous highland setting”
This is an extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped static caravan in one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland. The site is very private and the site toilet block is well maintained and nearby which was very convenient as we had difficulty in getting enough hot water for a shower. There are many places to visit locally on foot including Blair Castle and The Water Mill which also has a lovely cafe and bakery. Thank you Linda for all the little homely touches not to forget the box of shortbread which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Very comfortable, well equipped caravan with everything you could ever need for your stay. Lovely soft towels and warm shower too! The large decking is perfect to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Had a lovely holiday and hope to return soon!

Just returned from 2 night very enjoyable stay. Caravan very clean and comfortable, had everything you will need for a pleasant holiday. Owner certainly went the extra mile to make it feel like home from home. Recommend The Loft restaurant, food was lovely and staff very friendly.
