The Perth and Kinross region
Situated in the very heart of Scotland, Perthshire represents the perfect place to find all that you expect of a great Scottish holiday. Most of Perthshire is little more than one hour by road or rail from Glasgow or Edinburgh, but a world apart.
Towns and places to visit in Perthshire include Aberfeldy, Loch Tay and Glen Lyon, Auchterarder, Gleneagles and the Ochils, Blairgowrie and East Perthshire, Crieff, Comrie and Strathearn, Dunkeld and Birnam, Kinross-shire and Loch Leven, the Fair City of Perth, Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire, and some of the most scenic Scottish glens.
Take a walk in Perthshire this Autumn and discover why this beautiful region is known as ‘Big Tree Country’, home of the tallest trees, widest conifer and tallest hedge in Britain.
Use some of the 250 miles of waymarked paths to get to the Roman camps, medieval castles and whisky distilleries where you can spend a great day out discovering all about the detailed history.
Venture into the hills and mountains of the Cairngorms National Park in Highland Perthshire to see the wildlife - head out with a guide to learn more about the animals and see the best sights.
Once you’ve soaked up the stunning autumnal scenery of outdoor Perthshire, head into the city to find shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and theatres. Framed by two grand public parks and the striking Tay Street promenade, Perth is a lovely city offering the best in shopping, nightlife and culture.

"Fantastic river side location!!!"
This was our second trip to this fantastic lodge. The location could not be better and the lodge itself is so comfortable and clean with everything you need. There's a hotel a minutes walk away for a meal and the local pub next door, The Roundhouse, is brilliant. The locals enjoy the new company! Plenty to do and see in the surrounding area with some fantastic scenery right on your doorstep. We love this part of the world and having found this lodge has been a blessing. Will always come back. Superb!!!

"Fantastic Lodge, perfect views"
This lodge is perfect for anyone looking to unwind & enjoy the courtyside at it's best. I love the self catering part of this & the lodge has everything that you would need to create that perfect meal. If you prefer to eat out your not too far from the local restaurants... Overall I would say perfect time away in a very cosy lodge & can't wait to book our next trip

"The perfect combination of total pleasure"
Be prepared to experience a relaxed and wonderful time, we found the lodge was perfect for us, the amenities were just what we needed and access to the decking to sun bathe or just sit and watch the river pass by was so relaxing. The location of the lodge is perfect, overlooking the river, I would say that it's location is the best of all the lodges there, plus the sound of the river at night just makes you drift off to sleep. Not that you need much coaxing, after taking a walk across the river and into Blair Atholl grounds, they are wonderful. There are many other attractions you can visit. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the lodge but also the grandeur of the surrounding countryside.

"Real Family Holiday"
River Tilt Lodge is the ideal place to relax and spend quality family time. The lodge is well kitted out, modern and clean. The views of the hills are absolutely gorgeous from the deck which looks directly out over the river hence it's name. We have holidayed at least once a year in Blair Atholl/ Pitlochry since 1995 staying in caravans, cottages and lodges and I can honestly say that this lodge is the best we have ever stayed in there. Even our teenage boys love the place... Real praise indeed...

"Room with a view"
We had short break in this very nice "Chalet”, ideal for a holiday or short breaks. A very well appointed Chalet, with a great location overlooking the river. Lots of wild life, Red Squirrels, birds etc. We were there a quiet time, but wouldn’t think that it would be any noisier at peak times. Ideal location for seeing the sites locally, House of Bruar, and many walks, castles, small towns close by.
