Description from owner
Pine Marten is a Scandinavian style 3 bedroom lodge that sits directly on the River Tilt and offers spectacular views and genuine home quality and comfort. .
We purchased the lodge as our family holiday home in 2013 and fully refurbished, decorated and furnished the lodge to very high standards including installing a new fully fitted kitchen and gas central heating throughout the lodge.
The lodge comprises an open space living room and kitchen, an en-suite master bedroom, a twin bedroom, cross over bunk bedroom (beds are slightly smaller than full-size and are more suitable for children and teenagers) and main bathroom with shower.
The living room has a 4 seater sofa, 2 seater love seat, TV, DVD, Sky, and Bose music player. The main feature of the living room is the traditional gas fire which sits directly in front of the large delta window. The kitchen, which also has an extendable dining table and 6 chairs has an integrated fridge, freezer and dish washer plus microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The master and twin bedrooms have built in wardrobes and the master bedroom has a bay window with dressing table.
Pine Marten has a substantial private balcony that enjoys all day sun and includes a dining table and chairs and relaxed seating area with patio heater and BBQ.
The main feature of the lodge is the large delta window with unparalleled views down the river. With full gas central heating, Sky TV and Wifi, it is the perfect all year round holiday location.
Pine Marten is set within the grounds of The River Tilt Park, a 5 star awarded holiday park. The park includes a swimming pool (17mx11m), toddlers paddling pool, jaccuzi, sauna, steam room, new gym and hair salon (open March to November). Please contact River Tilt Park direct for prices for use of facilities.
Pine Marten is around a 5 minute walk from Blair Atholl train station which heads south to Perth and north to Aviemore and Inverness. Blair Atholl Golf Course is less than a 5 minute walk from the lodge.

“Charming cosy, well equipped Lodge on well kept holiday park”
Had a lovely stay with our 3 young children in Feb 2019. Easy booking and correspondence with Richard, lovely lodge, very clean and equipped in a fantastic location. The River Tilt Holiday Park it is on is very well kept and spotless. Lovely walks close by along the river, station just a few minutes away as is Blair Castle (closed at the time we went as it was out of season, as was most indoor attractions). Pitlochry is only a few minutes drive away and has some pleasant cafe's etc. Thoroughly recommend the drive to some of the nearby Loch's. Stunning scenery. House of Bruar is an interesting store about 10 minute drive away, has a fish & chip shop also if you don't fancy cooking one night. We very much hope to visit Scotland again and Pine Marten Lodge will be our first choice of accommodation.
“Cosy lodge !”
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The four of us really enjoyed the comfortable lounge area and were able to make lots of lovely meals in the kitchen. Great tv with good sound system made it nice to have cosy film nights in after a long days walking. Easy to find lodge in great location in stunning scenery. We used to the train and buses to get in and out of Pitlochry as we spent our evenings there as not a lot going on in Blair atholl itself. We would happily return.
“Really cosy cabin”
Absolutely beautiful log cabin, with lovely views all along the river. Really well equipped and lovely and warm. When restaurant on site is closed during winter months it is just a short walk to a great hotel for food. Plenty of lovely walks in this village. Our favourite was the red squirrel walk on Blair Castle estate, saw quite a few. Hope to return.
Been to many lodges however Pine Marten is best by far. So good although we are still there already booked for September.
“Excellent lodge in a fantastic location.”
We loved the lodge, it was perfect, home from home. So relaxing and in a beautiful spot with decking overlooking the river. The lodge itself had everything you wanted and was very clean. Will definitely return.
“Fantastic log cabin wanted for nothing!”
We loved this chalet it was perfect for my husband and I yet room for our extended family the next time. The owner could not have been more pleasant in his correspondence with me and very professional yet friendly. The location is idyllic on the river perfect. We hope to go back again and the end of the year. I highly recommend this chalet and am sure anyone would have a lovely peaceful holiday.
