Lough MacNean Activity Park is a 5 minute walk from the Lodge. On the edge of Lough MacNean with a picturesque backdrop is an outdoor adult fitness and children's activity play park. After hours of fun, here you can have a picnic or barbeque and swim in the lake where the Blacklion Swimming Festival takes place annually. Changing/toilet facilities onsite. 1.5 km away in Blackloin is MacNean House and Restaurant and the more recent cookery school, home to Ireland's award winning celebrity chef, Neven Maguire.
The world class Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark is just minutes away. This is host to one of the finest show caves in Europe. Here visitors are guided through a fascinating underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers while stunningly beautiful cave formations glisten all around.

Cavan Burren Park is minutes from Killinagh Lodge. Here you will find a mythical, spiritual landscape of monuments, megalithic tombs, hut sites and pre-bog walls all of which survive from pre-historic times and are located within metres of eachother. The park offers stunning views of Cuilcagh Mountain, West Cavan and the greater Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark. A brand new visitor centre interpreting the story of man and his life in Cavan Burren Park opened recently. At The Cladagh Glen the river re-emerges from its underground journey through the Marble Arch Caves to make its way winding and twisting down through the narrow-steep sided gorge of the Cladagh Glen. It is part of the Marlbank National Nature Reserve.

The Cavan Way is a 22km trail beginning in Blacklion and ending in Dowra. Following generally the course of the river to its source at the mystical Shannon Pot, the walk follows quiet valley and riverside landscapes, passing many historic sites.

While in Enniskillen you can avail of a boat trip on Lough Erne (available from the Round'O) and stop off at Devenish Island, a 6th Century monastic site founded by St Molaise. Climb to the top of the 30m round tower and enjoy the views of Lough Erne. A 15 minute drive North of Enniskillen in Irvinestown, in the grounds of the Sacred Heart Church, you will find the Garden of Celtic Saints. This is a unique place of prayer and reflection, a place of beauty and hope.
