Description

Whilst Hillcrest House Apartment is a five minute walk from the beach we would also recommend lounging in the apartment's beautiful private garden surrounded by exotic plants and flowers. There is a restaurant and bar within sight of the apartment block and it is a ten minute walk down to the village of Mumbles. The apartment has two bedrooms and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining table and sofas with access onto the garden.

There are two entrances to the property one from the main entrance of the building accessed from a sloped path which runs from the parking area in front of the property, this path has 25 shallow steps. The South Wales region

Awarded the title of Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956, The Gower Peninsular is a true haven. Tucked away in South-West Wales, Gower offers its visitors the feeling of complete freedom, whilst lying just a short drive from Swansea and the M4. Those who want to explore at a more relaxed pace can discover mouth-watering local produce, boutique shopping, cafes, art galleries and more in the popular fishing village of Mumbles. With a rich cultural heritage and plenty of attractions both ancient and modern, the Gower Peninsular is an area of the UK that's not to be overlooked.

Bishopston

Langland - Has many lovely houses with views over the sea. Just a little way out of the busy centre of Mumbles. This area benefits from the two most popular and child friendly beaches in the area, Langland and Rotherslade. Connected at low tide but each with its own charm and character.

“An excellent spot for both Mumbles and the beaches”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2014

The flat is well-equipped and very comfortable. It was our first holiday with our 5mth son and everything was very straightforward (we left the pushchair in the car because of the steps/stairs). We had everything we needed in th kitchen and two bathrooms was a plus. The garden is also lovely (probably not suitable for a toddler but then the beach is only 5mins walk away). We're going to be rebooking because it was so good. We also appreciated the fact there is parking for two cars so that family could drop in to see us.

It sounds like you had a fantastic time and we're delighted you enjoyed your first family holiday. We look forward to seeing you again on Gower soon!
