Description from manager

The Derbyshire village of Birchover is home to fascinating rock carvings, stone circles, ancient burial mounds and rocky tors. There are two handy village pubs for when you don’t feel like cooking. The neighbouring village of Winster is well worth a visit and boasts a market, more than 70 listed buildings,a bowling green and a selection of pubs.

The property is accessed via an external flight of original stone steps and is set on one level. The compact kitchen includes everything you should need throughout your stay and features a sociable breakfast bar and skylight, allowing for plenty of light in the mornings. Through the kitchen, you will find the spacious studio sitting area with a double bed and sofa. Full of character, this room features an exposed stone wall, beamed slanted ceiling and plenty of light through the three windows. The light and airy shower room features pretty splash back tiles and a further skylight,in keeping with the bright, light feel of this property.

Outside,a walled patio area with garden furniture is the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or summer BBQ. Or,if you’re feeling energetic, why not head to the onsite tennis court for a game or two to work up an appetite?
