The Derbyshire village of Birchover is home to fascinating rock carvings, stone circles, ancient burial mounds and rocky tors. There is also a handy village shop and two inns for when you don’t feel like cooking. The neighbouring village of Winster is well worth a visit and boasts a market, more than 70 listed buildings, a bowling green and a selection of pubs. The property is accessed via an external flight of original stone steps and is set on one level. The compact kitchen includes everything you should need throughout your stay and features a sociable breakfast bar and skylight, allowing for plenty of light in the mornings. Through the kitchen, you will find the spacious studio sitting area with a double bed and sofa.
