Description from owner

Description

Honeysuckle Cottage is a pretty semi-detached 2 bedroom holiday cottage, converted from an old stable block and overlooking a lake dotted with lily pads. Downstairs is a large open plan dining living room and separate kitchen. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, along with the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Upstairs head height is restricted and Honeysuckle is somewhat of a 'Hobbit House' on the first floor. The property is approached down a long drive across farmers fields. The setting is incredibly peaceful and rural yet just a stroll across beautiful countryside to great pubs and places to eat. Set in six acres - feel free to wander and explore our bluebell wood, old fruit orchard and woodland stream.

Many beautiful National trust properties nearby including Sissinghurst Castle, Bodiam Castle and Smallhythe place. Chapel Down and Biddenden Vineyards close by, beautiful walks and centrally located for trips to Canterbury, Tunbridge

Many beautiful National trust properties nearby including Sissinghurst Castle, Bodiam Castle and Smallhythe place. Chapel Down and Biddenden Vineyards close by, beautiful walks and centrally located for trips to Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and the coast. Michelin starred restaurant in the village and recent Kent dining pub of the year just 5 mins by car.

Parents of small children - please note that there is an unfenced lake directly in front of the holiday cottages, down a grassy bank. Whilst scenic and a haven for wildlife, it may not be safe for very young children.
