Architect-designed loft type with a sea-view...entirely renovated....equipped with industrial furniture...internet access (wifi)..listen to I'pod and fitted with reversible air-conditioning......This apartment ,ideally situated on the sea-front ( the famous place st Eugénie) ,right in the heart of Biarritz ,near the old port beach is equipped with all the modern conveniences...It's on the 3rd floor without lift....lots of great restaurants within walking distance.A place is available for golf set or surfboard.100m away from the two beaches...this loft has featured in articles in magazinesLooking for a very cool and unique holiday apartment in Biarritz, France.........If you are looking for somewhere really special and totally unique to stay to explore the Basque region of France then read along. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely architecturally designed apartment in the heart of Biarritz in the South West of France. Right in Place Saint Eugenie and a short 100m stroll to the beach. I could never get tired of the lovely view from the loft windows across the Place Saint Eugenie and down to the cathedral both night and day. The apartment is decorated in bright bold colours, fabulous spotlights on exposed timber beams, a secret loft/reading room for the kids which could also second as a third bedroom, and really funky interiors and kitchen accessories. The owner Frederique has thought of everything you could ever need for your holiday and has such a great eye for interior design. Loft windows, soft lighting, fresh linens, fast wifi and air-con, double bathroom with a huge shower, even fluoro green and orange basins that light up when you walk in! The bamboo chairs in the master bedroom (pictured above) were my favourite feature and the kids loved their beach themed loft bedroom too. This place is great for families with young kids, or a couple wanting a beach side escape, close to all the lovely restaurants and bars and handy to Carrafour for baguette, wine and cheese supplies. My absolutely favourite patisserie Miremont is in the same street as the apartment, and Hotel & Cafe Palacito was my pick for a morning shot of coffee before hitting the shops. I ran out of time but I have been told that nearby Comptoir Foie Gras and Bar Jean were great local bars for Basque delights. Also a great place to stay if you are ever 'en route' to Hossegor for the annual Quiksilver Pro France surfing tour...Natalie HAYLLAR.Thank you Frederique for being a wonderful host to us in Biarritz. If you would like to rent the apartment go to holidaylettings /biarritz/158460Hi Frederique, We had a very lovely time at your apartment - it is beautiful. Jasmine especially liked it and the ladder to her magic playroom was in constant use! Jeanne had a superb time and your place provided the perfect sanctuary from her very busy academic life. For me the highlight was being able to walk down for a surf in the morning and then have a post surf coffee at the market. Thanks again for letting us use your beautiful loft. Regards . "Nice apartment in perfect location"

This was a very nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is just perfect and the apartment itself has everything you need. We were travelling with a baby so a few features of the apartment were not very child friendly. Nonetheless we had no problems and this will be a great apartment to share with friends and it is very arty and different to the usual holiday rentals. The hosts were very friendly too and they gave us tips on where to go.

"Brilliant Accomodation"

Located in a prime position with easy access to beach restaurants shops and the other attractions that Biarritz has to offer. The quirky layout with a mezzanine in the main room is a real attraction for children. The lounge dining room kitchen was fully equipped with added quirky designer artefacts. The bedrooms were comfortable and the toilet and bathroom luxurious with coloured lights being activated on entry into the bathroom. The only drawbacks were that parking was a distance away although only twelve euros a week. The three flights of stairs to climb ensured plenty of cardio exercise. The owner Frederica was there to meet us and was extremely friendly and helpful. Three in our group very comfortable, I think more than four would be a bit of a tight squeeze

I bring a little precision to park your car. There is a underground carparks under the place st Eugénie and a free parking is available nearby on the " atalaye" parkin area ( you must pay only 12€ a week from the 15th june until the 15th september)....3 mns walking from the park your car is absolutely no a problem in this part of the town.....

"Perfect loft living in the heart of Biarritz."

This lovely loft was introduced to us by the owner Frederique. Perfectly located in the heart of Biarritz it has all the character and trendy charm you would expect of a Parisian apartment but only a short walk for a morning surf (or coffee).

"Perfect For A Family In The Center Of Biarritz"

This is an absolute gem of a find and very fairly priced for a family especially, as in our case, there are five of you. My 5, 8, and 10 year olds were perfectly accommodated and we were in the heart of Biarritz and walked the five minutes to the Grand Plage for surfing lessons every day. There are enough good restaurants that you never need your car and the kitchen is well equipped that you don not even need restaurants if you so choose. The owner, Frederique, was equally wonderful and made it her personal mission to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed. I thoroughly recommend Eugenie!

"Very Cool Loft Appartment"

Spent 4 nights in Biaritz and will definitely be coming back and staying in this loft appartment. A very cool and comfortable appartment that had everything a young family or group of friends could want. Ideally situated in the heart of Biaritz only a short walk to both beaches made it ideal as I was able to check the surf easily and grab a cafe au lait without trouble. Frederique the landlady is a wonderful host.

"juste formidable!!!!"

"WOW, what a location!"

I stayed at the apartment for four days with my husband, four young children and a friend from home who was in France. The location is 5 stars and absolutely cannot be beaten. Frederique, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful lady who greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around the apartment. Considering the size of our party - 7 people, we were comfortable. We didn't spend a great deal of time in the apartment, however it was an ideal base. Some down sides to a loft apartment, which didn't affect us, but need to be considered, are the stairs. Being on the top floor of three storey building, if you don't like walking up and down stairs, then this isn't the place for you. The bedding is small. The main bedroom is a double size bed. If you're a tall person, you'll be crouching down a lot. The furnishing are quirky and add to the funkiness of loft style living. We had a great time and I would highly recommend the apartment. Probably best suited for a family of four.
