Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Garth is situated in the conservation area of the town, within Snowdonia National Park. One minute's walk from the famous and picturesque bridge called Pont-Y-Pair ( Bridge of the Cauldron) in the centre of Betws-Y-Coed. The Victorian architecture reflecting high pitched roofs provide an Alpine feel throughout the seasons, against the backdrop of magnificent woodlands, waterfalls and rivers.

Garth is in the original part of the town, called Pentrefelin ( Mill Village) with the original mill across the road and the watercourse that would have turned the original wheel still running through Garth's garden today.

Betws-y-Coed

Mill Street sits in the conservation area of the town, with the original mill worker's cottages, coaching inn and mill building can be seen. The road that the properties sit on is not a primary route road, however is services the neighbouring village some 6 miles North. On peak occasions this road may be used for sporting events such as Tour of Britain (Cycling). Betws-Y-Coed has a significant sporting and events calendar drawing athletes from around the globe.
