“Superb facilities in excellent location”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2015

Beautiful scenery surrounds this conveniently located, well equipped cottage. We will be back :-) Many thanks, Emma

“So much to offer!”

Reviewed 31 May 2015

This was our first trip to North Wales and we found Bluebell Cottage our perfect base. The cottage is well equipped, comfy and surrounded by fantastic views. We daily spent time watching the squirrels outside 'raiding' the bird feeders where parent bluetits visited from their bird box nest opposite. A spotted woodpecker was also a regular. All this without leaving the cottage!! As a base for exploring North Wales we were never far from any of the many sites/attractions which are many - Snowdon, Zip Line, Conwy RSPB, high Ropes, Osprey observations, waterfalls, Llandudno, Conwy Castle ... The list goes on and none were more than a 45 minute drive. A slightly longer drive takes you to Angelsey. The proprietors are friendly and ready to help with any queries if necessary but also happy to leave you alone to enjoy. We will definitely be returning.

“Log cabin hideaway”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2015

Good things come in small packages definitely applies to Bluebell Cottage. You will feel like you are in the swiss alps in this mountain hideaway, surrounded by the owners' 10 acre gardens and woodland, and with fantastic views that you can see from your own elevated decking area (complete with sunbeds!) The cottage also has a picnic bench outdoors and a barbecue, perfect for outdoor breakfasts and feasts. There is also a verandah with picnic chairs. Inside, you'll find a small but perfectly proportioned interior, where the owners have thought of absolutely everything, including tv, dvds, books, leaflets on local attractions, a good, useable hairdryer (as a seasoned self-caterer this is a rarity!), loads of storage, (ditto), and good quality crockery (including - hooray - decent sized mugs!) A lovely lovely place.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to welcome you back again in the future. Thank you and Best Wishes.

“Comfortable peace and quiet, beautiful views.”

Bluebell cottage was a lovely find, booked for my partners birthday as a surprise which did not disappoint. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, we really relaxed in the peace and quiet there. Sylvia was very helpful, leaving out specific vegan related information which we appreciated! Great stay, we would love to return with our son in the near future. Many thanks.

Owner's reply: Thank you for such a lovely review and really pleased you had a relaxing time and enjoyed your stay. Very best wishes
