Set In the most exquisite and stunning location with views over Exmoor and a popular riding stables just 200 yards away, this sunny lodge is private, very comfortable and perfect for exploring the North Devon countryside and famous beaches. Just 4 miles from rocky beaches and inlets there is so much to explore on your doorstep.
The lodge has its own driveway, private parking and an elevated and sunny position with its totally enclosed and child-free garden and decking looking straight down the valley with stunning views. Garden furniture allows for outdoor dining or for just admiring the breathtaking countryside.
The lodge has three bedrooms, the master double bedroom having French windows out onto the garden. Bedroom two is a twin room and then there is a third bunk room. The bathroom has bath, shower and toilet. We also supply a travel cot and high chair.
The kitchen is large, spacious and well stocked with washing machine, dish washer and microwave, electric hob and oven. The open plan sitting room and dining room is very airy and light with French doors out to the deck and garden . There is wifi, a TV with DVD and Freeview, iPod docking station and lots of games and puzzles for rainy days.
We supply OS maps for keen walkers and can store bicycles and surf boards.

The Devon region
Set just inside Exmoor National Park, the property benefits from some of the most beautiful surrounding countryside in the UK. The hamlet is surrounded by farmland with wonderful views beyond of the moor itself, with its wild and undulating landmarks and unspoiled vista for miles in all directions.
Just a couple of miles away is the stunning rocky North Devon coastline with multiple viewpoints and stunning coastline walks taking walkers to some of the most stunning areas of the west country.
Despite this, there is the bustling coastal town of Combe Martin just four miles away, with pubs, restaurants, a lovely beach and plenty of entertainment for the children including Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Dinosaur and Wildlife Park. Lynton and Lynmouth, with the famous Cliff Railway, is always worth a trip on the Lynton Steam Railway is also a great way to spend a rainy day!!

North Devon is well known for its surfing beaches and the famous beaches at Croyde, Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe are all within a 25 minute drive.
There are also a number of festivals during the year in North Devon, including the Appledore Book Festival in September and October, Gold Coast Oceanfest music festival in June, Ilfracombe Beer Festival in May and numerous flower and produce festivals at RHS Rosemoor.
And no-one should come down to this part of the world without visiting world famous artist Damian Hurst's giant statue of Verity, which sits at the entrance of Ilfracombe harbour, conveniently right next to the Ilfracombe Aquarium which has won high acclaim.
