Description

A large detached characterful Edwardian holiday home:

- Six bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, and some with distant sea views

- Games Room

- Living room with log burner

- Dining room that seats 16 around one table

- Large conservatory

- A second living room with fitted bar (not staffed or stocked, for your own private use)

- Pubs and restaurants within walking distance

- Secure ample parking (7 to 10+ cars)

- Weekend and Mid Week breaks available

The en suite bedrooms are set out as follows:

- 2 Double rooms, en-suite with showers

- 2 Twin rooms (can be made up as super king doubles on request), en-suite with shower

- 1 Double, en-suite shower over bath

- 1 Family room (1 double bed and 1 single bed) with en-suite shower over bath

Woodlands makes a great base for family and group gatherings and for exploring the beautiful Anglesey.

In the immediate area, all within walking distance:

- The glorious sandy beach of Benllech.

- A pub & resturants within 5 minute walk, more in 10 minute walk

“Lovely house with lots of space”

This holiday house is great for a large party as the rooms are all good sizes and there are several reception rooms so guests can have some space if needed. Our only criticism would be that the water pressure in the top floor two bathrooms was very poor and the previous guests hadn't ensured the plates were washed up properly, as there were dried green bits on several of them. I would holiday in the house again as location is good and we loved the space as there was 11 of us. We read a review about the beach having a lot of people walking dogs and this is the case and spoilt the day we had on the beach as not all dog owners were considerate walkers, but this isn't the fault of the house owner, it's something that the council should be addressing as it lets the area down as a holiday destination.

Our family all enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands. It was really spacious, clean and great value for money. It was close to the village and beaches and a great base to explore Anglesey! The bedrooms were great for our group, all en-suite so no arguing! Although we did argue over who got the sea views! This is one of the nicest houses we have stayed at and we are looking at booking again next year.

Stayed at woodlands in march , as there where 13 off us we needed somewhere big and this fitted the bill . Great house great location couldn't ask for more plenty of room for all , especially the kids we didn't see them the whole time we were there as they had set up camp in the games room . Rooms are amazing . It was like are very own chic hotel . Michael the owner couldn't have done enough for us , he was a pleasure to deal with . We will definitely be booking again sometime in the near future .

What an amazing place to stay, beautiful location, amazing views! The house itself is immaculate, all bedrooms are en-suite (some showers worked better than others but certainly not a concern) as the decor and attention to detail in all the rooms is perfect. The 'in house bar' is a great feature we had a few family quiz nights which went down a storm! We almost forgot we had 6 children with us, they claimed the basement/games room as their own and disappeared into the beautiful gardens. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery and the dining table is fit for a king! Would definitely recommend to anyone, we enjoyed every second there

This is the first review I've ever done even though I've stayed at many holiday lets over the years always with a large group of friends and my 2 dogs! This property was perfect for our mixed group of adults, kids and again dogs. I believe it was previously a B&B and this was a real benefit as all the rooms had en suits, the living areas catered for our large number and the dining table sat us all more than comfortably. The games room, bar and completely enclosed garden were very welcomed extras that really added to our stay (especially the enclosed garden for me with the dogs!). We found the property to be very clean, well decorated and the information provided on the local amenities and attractions were excellent. I organised the booking and found the owner very accommodating and eager to help with any queries that I had. On top of everything mentioned above a real highlight were the views of the sea and the easy 15 minute walk to the beautiful Benllech beach . I think I can speak for us all in that we would happily return to Woodlands again and definitely recommend it.
