“amazing views and friendly helpfull owners”

comfortable and well fitted out apartment, wonderful sunset views, very convenient for the beach, plenty of bars and eating places within easy walking distance, a good choice of reasonable priced supermarkets close by, also bus No.2 for Finestrat and bus No.10 for Albir and Altea only 2 minutes away. The owners were very helpful and friendly, recommended.

We stayed for three weeks Jan/Feb, and were extremely pleased with our choice of accommodation. We have been visiting Benidorm for over 20 years and this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The view, as everyone mentions, is absolutely second to none. What a wonderful sight to wake up to each morning, and we had 20 of 21 sunny mornings to wake up to! We did wake up to mist and rain on one occasion but as we watched the storm clear, we were rewarded with the most beautiful full rainbow in the distance, and as we continued to watch, the skies cleared and we were back to sunshine again. Even at night, with all the lights twinkling away into the distance, it was still a grand sight to see. The apartment itself, is very clean and comfortable, with everything you need to cater for yourself if you want to, but is only a short walk away from restaurants and bars etc if you prefer to eat out and/or enjoy all the entertainment available. There is a comfortable leather couch with reclining seats, plus an additional chair, a real change from the usually very uncomfortable sofa bed type couch normally provided! And British TV channels are a real bonus for those of us who like to have active days but quiet evenings at home. Beds are fine, we slept very well indeed, and were very pleasantly surprised to find the virgin wool mattress toppers on all beds. We have done the blanket trips and been to the presentations, but never purchased as very sceptical, not any more, they were amazing! Hubby suffers from night sweats, leaving his side of the bed, and his pj's, wet and clammy every morning. Hand on my heart, he did not sweat once when sleeping on those toppers, we simply could not believe it. We are just waiting for the bank account to recover from holiday and this is one purchase I will DEFINITELY be making. Booking procedure was easy, various ways to pay available to suit, very warm welcome from Alan on arrival and he is easy to contact if you do have any problems, which is very reassuring. Our deposit was returned very quickly after our return, minus the charge for electricity, and meter readings quoted for your information. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, there is no unmatched threadbare bedding here and kitchen equipment is decent quality and plenty of it for your needs, and the local contact Alan is helpful and caring. My only caution, and it is nothing to do with the aparment or services, is that the hill leading up to the entrance is a bit of a leg tester as mentioned in previous reviews, I do have a bit of a problem with my knees so struggled a bit, but we cheekily used the lift in the hotel directly opposite on the upward journey from time to time, which was a great help!

stayed here over christmas 2012, could not fault it one bit, beautiful views of the whole of benidorm, only ten minute walk to the shops clubs and pubs. only downfall is the slight hill, but keeps you fit, would definetly stay there again.

“Fantastic views and in an ideal position”

Was met at the apartment with Alan. As soon as you walk in the apartment and see the veiw for the first time, the only words are WOW!!...what a veiw! Although the apartment block looks a bit dated outside, inside its been modernised and has new lifts. The apartment its self is clean, modern and airy, with everything you need, TV with all UK channels, fridgefreezer, washer, microwave etc. A 2 minute walk to the sea. Pool is clean and quite. Supermarket across the road, cafes and bars just round the corner. Its near enough to get to the noisy bit, but far enough away for it to be nice and quite at night. Old town is really good, loads of tapas bars, and nice bistro's. Try Amigos bar and bistro, best steak Ive had in a long time. www.amigosbarbenidorm.com Highly recommended!!

My wife and I stayed there for a month from mid June to mid July.We met Alan and Andy on arrival who were extremely helpful and nice guys.The Apartment has everything that you need to fullfil your holiday.The slight incline to the gate of the Apartment is more of a leg tester than a problem.I am 67 and had no difficulty whatsoever.Also serviced by steps that are easy to manage up/down by one of the Hotels. The electricity is managed by a meter and very reasonable,payable upfront and any unused amount returned. The Apartment is on the 21st. floor and no one could possibly fault the "Panoramic Views". The lifts (2) to the floor get you right outside the front door,and although somewhat slow,they are very reliable. We have booked another month next year,in one of their other Apartments - just for a change and no other reason.

“Lovely apartment - superb location”

We stayed in this apartment for a week at the end of August. It is situated at the far eastern end of Levante Beach about 200 metres up a steepish hill. It is literally 2 minutes walk from the beach and there is a very nice little supermarket just 50 metres away where you can purchase all of your essentials, including bread baked freshly on site. We were met outside the apartment block by Alan who was very friendly and helpful. He was very apologetic about some recent water damage to the ceiling which we probably wouldn't have noticed had he not pointed it out. The apartment is on the 21st floor but there are 2 lifts which are modern and well maintained. There are 3 apartments on each floor. There is a breathtaking view from the apartment. We had one rainy day and afterwards you could see further than Alicante along the coastline. The apartment is equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric cooker and hob, washing machine and microwave plus everything you need in the way of cutlery, crockery, cookware, clothes drier, corkscrews and bottle openers (of course). There is also an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Everything is very clean and the apartment is light and airy. The kitchen, dining area and living area are open plan in an L shape with large patio style windows looking out onto the beaches. There is no balcony but, with the windows open the whole apartment feels like a terrace. In the living area behind the 3 seater sofa is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, which can be accessed either by a set of patio doors behind the sofa or via a door from the kitchen area. The bedroom has a wardrobe and bedside cabinet and is of a good/adequate size. The double bedroom is at the rear of the apartment. It has 2 small vent style windows - 1 to the communal landing and the other through to the twin bedroom. There is a double bed (bit short for my 6'6" frame), a bedside cabinet and a fitted wardrobe. Inside the wardrobe is an electronic safe which is free to use. This room has a ceiling fan for ventilation which was adequate with the 2 windows open to provide a breeze through the room. This room is quite small and personally I would have liked the double bed to be in the other bedroom so that us grown ups could have the better view and ventilation. The living area has a 3 seater sofa and an Ikea style sprung wood armchair and is equipped with satellite TV with the basic English Freeview channels. There is a small selection of paperback books (which we have supplemented with a few of our own to leave more room in our suitcases for cheap cigarettes and alcohol!). The shower room has a large shower cubicle, sink and WC. All are in good condition and the shower itself is powerful and adjustable. All towels and bedding are supplied. There is a circular glass dining table and 4 wicker chairs and place settings for 4 people. There is no airconditioning in the apartment but this caused us no problems with the windows open wide. There is a swimming pool and tennis court outside. The swimming pool is your basic rectangle and not particularly appealing to young children. There is no pool furniture. This didn't bother us because with the superb Levante Beach 2 minutes away who needs a pool? Sun loungers and parasols are 4 euros per day on the beach. Eating wise there is a Burgerking and a MacDonalds very nearby which we avoided like the plague. Just up from and opposite the Burgerking is a Chinese restaurant which is very good and exceptionally good value. We also liked the El Bahia and Tamoril restaurants on the seafront. For something a bit special try the El Mirador, otherwise known as the Casa Antonio, which is at the eastern end of Poniente Beach - super food and very attentive service. Best Mojito we found during the week was at the Baby Buddha bar which is the second bar you come to after leaving the apartment. 5 minutes walk away is the Avenida Mediterraneano (or similar) where you can catch buses into town or to the local attractions. The number 01 bus goes to Aqualandia/Mundomar and Terra Mitica/Terra Natur. The number 41 goes to Terra Mitica and the number 11 goes to Aqualandia. The bus costs E1.30 per person regardless of where you are going. Don't believe what you hear about Benidorm. It's not at all like the TV programme, apart from the very annoying but otherwise healthy people who insist on renting mobility scooters because they are too lazy to walk anywhere. The temptation to nudge them off the promenade and onto the beach was hard to resist.
