Getting around

Buses run approximately every10 minutes from the main road just below the apartment going to either the old town and main bus station or in the opposite direction to Altea. Pretty much everything you might need to buy is within easy walking distance. Coach tours and trips (Aqualandia, Aqua Natura, Terra Mitica, Algar Falls) can be booked from the information centre (2 minutes away on the main road). The famous Benidorm Palace is 10 minutes walk away.

Interaction with guest

We are very lucky to have an excellent Housekeeper - Sharon, who is available to help you if you have any problems during your stay. Her contact details are in the apartment and if you have any problems eg. blown light bulbs or if you have any questions or need advice she will be very happy to help you. She is usually only a few minutes away and will do her best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible for you.

“Needs Updating”

Apartment floor was dirty, shower curtain mouldy,living room light didn't work as bulb was broken in the ceiling fitting. Draft excluder on front door was just a rolled up newspaper sellotaped onto the door.This apartment needs the electricity updating.

Owner's reply: I request for this review to be removed as I believe it is unfairly misleading. I believe that the title of this review ‘Needs Updating’ is misleading to potential guests because it implies that the whole apartment and its electrics require updating. Our apartment regularly has bedding and its appliances updated and replaced to keep it fresh and clean. Our manager is on site and always endeavours to quickly resolve any issues that guests have. The faulty electrics that it refers to were caused by electricians working on the whole site – it did not affect just our property and was beyond our control. Our guests were aware of this as our manager visited them to let them know what was happening. Our manager visited the guests several times during their stay to make sure that they were happy and that everything was satisfactory. Our guests are informed that if they have any problems or issues during their stay that they should contact our manager who will immediately rectify any faults. These guests made no complaints and therefore the manager was unaware of any issues. The guests contacted me upon their return by email to remind me to send them a cheque for a long stay discount that they had negotiated when they first booked. In their email they made no reference to having had any issues or complaints with the apartment. They have waited until the cheque that I sent to them has cleared through the bank before writing a negative review. The apartment was cleaned from top to bottom and floors were swept and washed before their arrival. We have no reason to believe that floors were ‘dirty’ as they describe. The light bulb referred to was working correctly before our guests arrived and would have been changed by our manager if the guests had notified us. I have checked the issue with the shower curtain and it did have a small amount of damp marks in the bottom corner – which although difficult to see – would have been replaced if our guests had requested it. I feel that this review in unnecessarily negative and will give potential guests an incorrect impression of our apartment.

We stayed for 14 nights in July/August this year brilliant accommodation and the pool is amazing photos really don't do it justice. Close enough to everything but nicely set back. Extremely helpful people who emailed back quickly with answers to any questions! So good I've been back one day and booked again for next year!!!!
