Lovely modern apartment, fully equipped and with phone line, WIFI/high speed internet and cable TV with huge selection of channels from all countries. Located on the first floor in well-maintained building with lifts and secluded pool area. Parking space(s) provided. Right in the centre of Benidorm but in a small quiet street, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, but want to be near the beach and amenities, the location is perfect.

The building is maintained by a full-time caretaker and the public areas and pool are cleaned every day. Most of the owners are Spanish and are away much of the time. You'll be surprised by how quiet it is, even in high season!

The "Rincon de Loix", where a lot of British holiday makers stay, is where a lot of night clubs and bars are located, and is about 15 minutes' walk away, but if you prefer to mix with Spanish people the old town is about 10 minutes' walk in the other direction and has lots of tapas bars,

The apartment has air-conditioning for use in the summertime and gas and electric heaters for use in the wintertime. Very well equipped and maintained.

The area has a hot, arid climate which is perfect for holidaymakers year-round.

Even in the middle of winter, once the sun comes up, the temperature rises and you'll be in shorts and a t-shirt by midday. People are on the beach year-round but it can get cold at night in wintertime. Summer months are very hot but heat starts to diminish late August.

Benidorm

Benidorm has something for everyone! there is a section called the "Rincon de Loix" which is full of British people and has numerous British pubs, clubs and fish 'n chip places, which some people may like and some may not, but it's just a small part of the city as a whole.

If you walk a few minutes towards the centre it changes completely and you will have a mixture of people from all over Europe, and a more Spanish feel. If you go even further you come to the Spanish section, or Old Town, which is very Spanish and has lots of tapas bars and places to eat that are full of spanish people. For children there is "Terra Mitica", a huge fun park with all kinds of rides and attractions that is close by. Alicante city is worth visiting and there are lots of small villages along the coast that you can explore too.

In the immediate surrounding area there is a large supermarket (MERCADONA), a dry-cleaner's, a greengrocer's, a butcher's, a bank with cash dispenser, an internet cafe/phone shop, a great open-air barbecue restaurant (chicken/rabbit etc.) several bars and cafes (one run by a British couple where you can get great full English breakfasts in the morning or a drink at night) and several mini-marts where you can buy food

and other essentiels at all hours. There is an "OpenCor" that sells all kinds of food, magazines, cigarettes, DVDs, gifts, etc. that is open until 2am every day.

“A well equiped and well positioned lovely property”

We had a wonderfull stay in Benidorm during January. The appartment was easily found and located between all areas. A ten minute walk to the sea front kept us away from unwanted noise. The appartment was fully equiped for a long stay. There is a large secure carpark attached, lovely gardens and a well maintainted pool. The owner could not be more helpful and was available by phone and had local assistance if required.

“Excellent well equipped apartment located close to the old town and huge supermarket”

I travelled with my husband and 4 children and found the apartment to be clean and well equipped. There's a huge supermarket to at the top of the road which enabled us to stock up on the essentials. Very close to the fabulous views of the old town but close enough to the new town. The beach was within walking distance. Even the bus stop to Terremitca was very close to the apartment. The caretaker works very hard to keep the block clean and pool was lovely, my children and I used it daily. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and if I had any problems was very prompt to resolve. I thought he was approachable and felt comfortable asking questions by text or phone. We did enjoy our stay,but was very disappointed with the overall state of the Appartment. Confused when we first arrived as the beds were made and sheets were in a folded pile on bed,so we were left thinking are they clean or not?so decided to change them after pulling back the sheets and finding hair! In the main bedroom there is a long pillow on the double bed,it absolutely stinks!how on earth can u fit that in a washing machine?answer u can't that's why it stinks !! Shower room needs a bottle of bleach,and lime scale remover! Spent the first few hours of holiday scrubbing the grease of the cupboards and toaster as if u touched it you would stick to it. Bed also needs tighting in small bedroom. Lovely people that live in the building,caretaker is lovely !!

We were surprised by some of the comments, especially since you sent us a text message the day you left, saying how lovely the apartment was and what a great stay you'd had! I wish that you had texted me beforehand, and let me know there were some problems straightaway so we could have discussed and hopefully fixed them. I'll go over the points one by one, if you don't mind. First of all, the large pillow you referred to is in fact a latex bolster pillow. Being made of natural rubber they do have a bit of an odour, but it's the rubber that you are smelling and they are all like that. Latex pillows are expensive and last a long time but they are not washable, no matter what size they are. Normally they don't absorb dirt or odours. However to avoid any other misunderstandings we have now removed it and replaced it with a foam one, the same as the others. About the beds being made up, as a rule we never make up the beds in advance, for the reasons you have given. We always leave clean sheets folded on the beds, and the first thing the cleaner does when she arrives is to strip the beds and remove the slept-in sheets. Is it possible that someone in your party made up the beds without telling the others? I can't think what else could have happened. It's a bit of a mystery to us. We've been using the same cleaner for 4 years now (Claudia), and if it had been someone new then I could see how it could have happened, but the cleaner that day was Claudia. About the kitchen and bathroom, again we are surprised, as Claudia is always quite thorough. I myself stayed in the apartment a week after you did, and the bathroom was spotless. It is possible of course that she missed something in the kitchen that day, that maybe she didn't notice the toaster was greasy. People tend not to cook much so usually the kitchen doesn't get very dirty. I did notice that the bed unit was squeaking, so we've had that tightened up. I've also asked Claudia to be extra meticulous when servicing our apartment in the future. Glad that you liked the caretaker Jaime and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

good apartment in good location handy for local bars and restaurants recommend banana cafe does a good breakfast would not recommend for couples as second bed in smaller bedroom is a pullout bed ideal for children and bedroom on the small side pool area in garden well looked after and would use again if going with children

We realize that the photograph of the smaller bedroom did not make it clear that one of the beds is a pull-out, so we have posted new photos on the advertisement that show this, just so that future guests know about it in advance. We do have a second apartment also advertised on this site, in the building just behind the Banana Cafe, that has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two completely separate single beds. Next time, maybe you would be more comfortable staying there. We certainly enjoyed having you, and hope to see you again!

we love this apartment ,we have stayed here 3 times now .we feel it has everything we need and want from a holiday ,the apartment is very clean and spacious has everything you could need during your stay ,its on first floor of a spanish residential block ,is a secure building with secure garden and communal pool for residents use ,caretaker is always on hand around pool and garden area .Theres a large supermarket just 3 mins walk away ,and a variety of bars and cafe within a 100 yards away.we will definitely be going back !
