A luxury 2 bedroom ground floor apartment situated within easy driving distance of the sandy beaches, leisure activities and nightlife of the Benalmadena area. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday on the beach and by the pool, a family holiday taking in the amusement parks and leisure facilities of Benalmadena, a golfing break enjoying the many championship courses in the area, or a combination of all these, our apartment is the perfect base for you.

This modern, airy apartment is furnished to a high standard, with spacious living/dining room with leather sofa and armchair, LCD TV (with UK and satellite channels), DVD player and hi-fi, as well as an i-pod speaker. The kitchen is fully fitted, including microwave and dishwasher (no-one wants to wash up on holiday!). There are 2 bedrooms (master bedroom has 5 ft bed), with fitted wardrobes and ample storage space, and 2 bathrooms (jacuzzi bath in master bathroom). Here you can sunbathe all day long (with breaks to cool down in the communal pool - or paddling pool for the little ones), or relax in the shade. In the evening you can enjoy a barbecue whilst watching the sunset. A further terrace with flowerbeds is at the rear of the apartment.

A supermarket is conveniently situated within walking distance of the apartment, and buses to all the local amenities stop nearby. We have an 18 hole par 3 golf course on the site together with tennis and paddle tennis courts. The clubhouse is the perfect place for a drink and a snack, either in the air-conditioned bar or outside on the terrace. Across the road is the municipal 9 hole golf course and driving range, with its own bar and restaurant.

The Costa del Sol region

The wonderful climate of the Costa del Sol makes it a fantastic year-round destination. The summer heat is perfect for sun-soaked holidays, whilst the warm temperatures the rest of the year (over 300 days of sunshine per year!) make it a golfer's and sightseer's paradise. An 18 hole par 3 golf course on the development, a municipal course across the road, plus many championship courses within a short drive, make this the ideal base for a golfing holiday. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore the history and beauty of Ronda, Cordoba, Seville and Granada, or visit Gibraltar or North Africa, and skiing in the Sierra Nevada is only a couple of hours away. Nearer to home, the area is dotted with traditional villages in the hills, as well as the lively resorts along the coast.

Benalmadena

The apartment is about 3 km from the beaches of Benalmadena Costa, and only a few minutes drive from Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel. At the Pueblo you will see a traditional Andalucian village with whitewashed houses, beautiful public gardens and spectacular views, whilst in Arroyo you can mix with the locals and experience life in a working Spanish town. Here you can also visit Tivoli World theme park and take a cable car trip on the Teleferica to the top of the mountains, where you get spectacular views of the area, and where you can see displays of birds of prey. Benalmadena Costa with its long, sandy beaches is a must for all visitors.Sample the delicious local food in the beach bars and restaurants, or enjoy the lively nightlife of the town. The award-wininng Puerto Marina with its floating islands is full of restaurants, bars and shops. You can visit the beautiful Paloma Park and the Sea-Life Centre, ideal for children and adults alike.

The apartment is within easy reach of water parks, horse riding and boat trips (for sightseeing, fishing and scuba diving), and the markets at Arroyo de la Miel and Fuengirola should not be missed. The local bus service stops in the complex, and can take you to the beach, the Pueblo or Arroyo, while buses to Fuengirola or Torremolinos or further afield can be found in the centre of Benalmadena.

If you want to see a bullfight, the bullring is close by at Benalmadena Pueblo, whilst horseracing can be enjoyed at Mijas racecourse (home of the Spanish Derby), only 15 minutes away, on Saturday evenings in the summer. If you are lucky enough to be here during a local feria (there is a week-long feria in Fuengirola in October) you will see the locals dressed in traditional outfits, with fireworks and a host of celebrations.

“Beautiful Apartment”

I stayed in this apartment for 8 nights at the end of August with my husband and 11 year old daughter. The booking process was very easy and June a pleasure to deal with. (Nothing too much trouble). On arrival we found the apartment exceeded our expectations i.e. the quality of furniture and fittings and the overall space. The terrace is huge and the numerous plants give a truly homely feel. The kitchen is very well equipped with the biggest fridge/freezer I have ever seen in a holiday home. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and wouldn't hesitate in booking this apartment again if we ever return to Benalmadena. On a final note, the security deposit was returned promptly on our return home. Many thanks.

We took another couple with us to an area we have visited before. The flat has a large south facing terrace, with a view to the sea, which is ideal for sunbathing and there are pools on the complex. Set on a steep hillside personal mobility is important however there is an excellent local bus service for non drivers. Local supermarkets and regional bus services are within 10 minutes walk therefore it is easy to get to Benalmadena Pueblo or Costa and Arroyo for the Coastal/ airport half hourly train service between Malaga and Fuengirola. We found this to be an excellent accomodation clean and well maintained and we would happily re-book if we decide to return to Benalmadena.
