Getting around

Although a car is not absolutely necessary, it is advisable as the amount of shopping you will need to cater for the large group is quite an amount. Otherwise, taxis will come to the door should you wish to travel to the Pueblo, which is an absolute must, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, La Carihuela, or the Port called Puerto Marinas.

Interaction with guest

As the owner of the owner of the property, I am completely hands on. I will deal with your booking directly, I will be in communication with regards to your stay at the villa. About 6 week before you travel I will send you out all the security information, information on the area, how to get to the villa, taxis, etc., most will be answered for you in the pack concerning your impending stay. You are throughout your booking welcome to contact me should you require any further information. I would be especially interested to know before hand if you or one of your party group has a disability.

Very Good

“First class family villa.”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2014

Excellent in all respects. Very helpful owner and agent. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful location looking down across the valley. Information pack very comprehensive and useful. Very well equipped (except no tea pot!!). Everywhere very comfortable and ideal for our large family with young children, who just loved the pool! Many thanks Angelina and Barbara for all your help. Hope to come back again before too long.

“A beautiful villa, couldn't fault it!”

Had a wonderful week in the Villa Solaria with family and friends. The villa is wonderfully spacious and impeccably kept. Lovely size pool (handy with twelve of us!). You definitely need a car as the villa is a little 'out of the way' and not really walking distance to shops etc. However, just a fifteen minute walk up the hill is the stunning Castle Colomares. An absolute 'must' to visit!! The coastal resorts etc are only minutes away by car.

“V illa Solaria, Benalmadena”

What a great villa, everything you need is there to make your stay enjoyable. Swimming pool and patio is kept very clean but be aware that the shallow end is quite deep, especially for kids and non-swimmers.If there is a fault, it is only that there is no shade by the pool ,perhaps a couple of sunshade/ umbrellas would help. All in all, I would recommend this villa as a great place to stay for large partys or families.

“Stunning, luxurious home from home!”

Villa Solaria is a beautiful house, equipped with everything you could possibly want for a large family or group vacation. Unlike many holiday rentals it feels like home due to the high standard of decoration and comfort. Is is very peaceful and quiet with spectacular views of the coastline. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Excellent holiday had by all, great villa, very happy”

I went with 10 friends, mainly couples all in our mid 20's. We had a fabulous time and loved the villa! The only negative was that it rained for 3 days but that can't be helped. We loved our bedrooms the 2 kitchens were great and the outside was brilliant. We spent most of our time by the pool or playing table tennis, but when it rained we could get us all in the living room which was nice. It is a bit of a walk up the hill to get to the villa but nothing we couldn't handle with a few deep breaths. The only down side for me was that the big supermarket was a taxi ride away but we did one big shop and then used the local ones nearby after that so it wasn't too bad. Further up the hill there are some lovely restaurants in the little village, which has a lovely old feel to it. We would definitely recommend this villa, the owner is lovely and very helpful. Overall we were very happy with our holiday and were sad to leave!
