From the owner

A beautifully appointed self catering holiday home near Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head, Manor Farm in Buckton village is just a stone's throw from seaside Bridlington, the Yorkshire Wolds and York. Perfect for up to eight people, The Roost, (formerly known as 'The Barn'), offers 4 ensuite bedrooms and a beautiful lounge with period features including exposed beams. Enjoy free WiFi throughout, ample off road parking on-site with secure bicycle storage space available if required. We are ideally placed for first class golf courses, wildlife spectacles and year round walking and activity holidays on the Heritage Coast and in the nearby Wolds.

The accommodation in The Roost includes a selection of four en-suite bedrooms including 1 double, 1 king, 1 twin and 1 superking room which can be set up as an additional twin if preferred. Each bedroom has its own modern, stylish en-suite shower room and the downstairs king room has a shower over bath.

All bedrooms are well equipped with free WiFi, a flat screen television, soft fluffy towels and deluxe bedlinen. Bedrooms are furnished with solid wood furniture and high quality fixtures and fittings. Extra cots or a bed for children can be provided on request and we have highchairs and booster seats for children too.

The kitchen is well equipped for a self catering break with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, range cooker and fridge/ freezer all provided. To the exterior, there is an attractive private patio garden with furniture, there is a raised Gazebo area with seating (perfect for sunsets!).

We have worked hard to provide an outside environment where you can hire a gas BBQ to be brought to your patio area. Further afield on our 5 acre site there are sheep, chickens and bees as well as visiting barn owls and an array of hedgerow birds. We have a wildflower meadow walk up to a picnic bench where you can rest, enjoy the view and let the wildlife come to you. There is a playing field with football/rugby posts and a willow dome with seating to allow you to watch and relax.

The Roost may be suitable for guests with limited mobility or the elderly with a king bedroom located on the ground floor. The Roost can be hired for short breaks (3/4 nights|) or weekly. The changeover day for week long stays is Friday, for short breaks it is Mondays and Fridays.
