A modern, light and open feel 6 berth caravan to let on Sandhills Holiday Park, Isle of Wight, situated just a 2 minute walk from the beach.

The caravan has two bedrooms with the main bedroom having an en-suite toilet with wash basin.

The main bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

The lounge has recently been re-upholstered and offers a sofa bed, flat screen Freeview TV and DVD player, along with a selection of books, games and DVDs. There is also an extendable dining table. A high chair and travel cot are available.

The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, microwave, slow cooker and electric steamer.

Outside there is a picnic table, chairs and parasol, along with a washing line and pegs. There is also space to park alongside.


Sandhills Holiday Park is located on the eastern coast of the 'Sunshine Isle' near Bembridge in beautiful countryside, by Culver Down. It has a private path down to the sandy beach, which is perfect for rock pooling and building sandcastles or simple chilling whilst watching the boats go by. There are two cafes on the doorstep!

The site is very family friendly and offers a kids' play area, a shop for the essentials and a launderette. It's a quiet site with plenty of room for the kids to roam about.

Please note that you will need to bring bedding (pillow cases, sheets & duvet covers) plus towels and tea towels.

Getting around

Nearest public transport is Southern Vectis bus (service number 8) which stops at the bottom of Peacock Hill (approximately 0.4 miles / 0.6 km from the van). Bus runs hourly daily to Ryde or Newport. In the summer, the open top "Downs Breezer" service runs hourly on a circular journey around the Island (24th June - 3 rd September 2017) departing around 21 minutes past the hour.

Sandhills Holiday Park reception has the keys to the van and they are available 24 hours to assist with any immediate issues. We can be contacted by mobile phone or email and we also have someone local who we can also engage to assist if there are any issues.

“Amazing destination and accommodation - why would you go anywhere else?”

I really don't want to tell everyone just how perfect this van is, or how breathtakingly beautiful the area is. I don't want to let on how amazing it feels to wander straight out of the van and up to Culver Down in the early morning or evening and simply gaze out to sea, or to look out of the van window at night and see the cruise ships lit up like magical fairy dwellings. This little piece of heaven needs to be kept secret. So I shan't be letting on!
