“Relaxing Stay on the waterways of Ireland”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2014

We have friends who we wanted to visit who live nearby so the location suited us perfectly. The house itself was absolutely spotless and felt very fresh and light. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had every amenity we could possible need and in fact was nicer than our kitchen at home! We really felt like we were having a true get away from it all as it was so peaceful. We were lucky to be blessed with wonderful weather during our stay and we loved exploring the waterways by boat. As amateur boat enthusiasts we found them easy to navigate and even used the boat to get to the local town of Belturbet for supplies, which was great fun. The area seemed perfect for fishermen. The birdlife was fantastic and we spotted kingfisher and many other birds. There was talk of otters nearby but sadly they didn't make themselves known to us during our stay but it will be a good reason to return.... I highly recommend a stay at Foalies Bridge, you won't be disappointed!

Dear Helen, It was our pleasure welcoming you to our holiday rental. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you iin teh near future. Many thanks, Kevin
