Description

Belfast Greystone Cottage has been certified and awarded a 4 Star rating by Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) on the 3rd May 2016. It is located in a beautiful rural setting on the edge of Belfast which has recently been restored to become a luxury home from home that sleeps six people. This Ulster cottage has three bedrooms, is finished to a very high standard with hotel grade linen. One double bedroom downstairs is wheelchair accessible with wet room next door. The bespoke kitchen is very well equipped with dining table, electric oven/hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher with access to a tumble dryer. The lounge is fitted with a flat screen with Freeview channels and free Wifi.

To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed and stoned garden area overlooked by some lovely tall trees ensuring a private and secluded place to relax. Price start from £80 per night mid week & £100 per night for Friday & Saturday nights. 10% discount for stays of 7 days or more.

Getting around

Guests may drive to Greystone Cottage and there are two parking spaces for the sole use of guests to the cottage. It is a 15 minute drive into the city centre and I have a list of parking facilities for the city centre detailed in my guidebook in the cottage. Alternatively you may drive a short distance to the bus stop and take a bus to the city centre. (£2 per aduly single journey but you may buy a day pass). If you prefer not to drive, you may avail of taxi which is approximately £9/£10 which is very comparative to public transport. Finally, guests to Greystone Cottage may avail of onsite taxi service but please give us notice to be able to facilitate your requests to the city centre or collection from the airports/train/bus stations.

Interaction with guest

I live next door and I am available for any questions or queries you may have. I have a host of information available in the cottage but if you would like more local knowledge, I or a member of the family will be available to advise or direct you in the right direction. If you like to have a quiet time, the cottage is separate with a lovely secluded private garden for guests sole use.

“Beautiful family cottage set in a very tranquil location!”

A family of six, we used Greystone Cottage as a base for our recent trip home to visit family and sightseeing. Catering for all our needs, it was very clean, comfortable and situated in the idyllic Castlereagh Hills. The cottage is owned by two awesome hosts Martina and her husband who are out, pre and post arrival to make sure your stay and trip is an awesome one! If you know the local Belfast area, it’s a good base. If you haven’t been to Northern Ireland before, its situated well for local Belfast and further afield top attractions, good food and a pint of Guinness. :) There is a wealth of information about what to do in the Cottage also. We loved this place and enjoyed our stay very much indeed. Many thanks Martina, your husband and not forgetting Sammy :) for a cracking 6 days. We most certainly will be back!

Just back from staying at Greystone cottage. Such a lovely, cosy, relaxing cottage with everything you could need. We will be back next year for I GO 2018. Highly recommend this cottage and a great meal at the Poet

“Amazing location and beautiful Cottage”

We were kept well informed by Martina from booking the cottage to leaving on the last day as well as during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Martina was extremely friendly and very funny. Her husband was also a great fountain of knowledge too. The cottage was very clean and smelt fresh on our arrival and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The location was perfect for us as we would be visiting family near Bangor. The beds were so comfy, we all got very good nights sleep. I will definitely book again. We had a wonderful stay.
