Location description from owner

Northern Ireland region

Belfast, a City where old blends in with new. Historically, Belfast has been a centre for the Irish linen industry tobacco production, rope-making and shipbuilding: the city's main shipbuilders, Harland and Wolff, which built the ill-fated RMS Titanic. Locals will say ' she was alright when she left here' Visit the Titanic Quarter, join a walking tour of Queens Island and soak in the history.

Visit the bars and clubs and restaurants and enjoy the 'craic' with the locals

Belfast

The Cathedral Quarter, named after St Anne's Cathedral is a centre point for nightlife. The cobbled streets and narrow entries hide loads of bars and restaurants. Custom House Square, (Belfast's Speakers Corner) hosts lots of outdoor concerts and street entertainers.
The Albert Memorial Clock is Belfast's own leaning tower, it is said that it has the time and the inclination

For families visit Belfast Zoo and the Odyssey a short walk away, houses W5, an interactive discovery centre for young children and adults. The Belfast Giants ice hockey team also play here. The newly opened Titanic Centre offers a fantastic experience of all aspects of the ship

“Excellent”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2016

The apartment was beautiful, clean and excellently located. Tommy was extremely helpful and accommodating. The view is addictive! Watching all types of ships and boats coming and going through the picture window was fascinating! City centre shops and Hop on Hop off buses very nearby. (hint for latter stand at any bus stop on their route, flag them down and they will stop!) On the way into town you will see Fed & Watered café - an excellent stop for breakfast! For the less mobile, lift is excellent with very short walk to apartment. Value Cabs were excellent, quick and easy to use. Pick up right outside reception door. Only couple of little criticisms - ensuite shower has no shelf for shampoo etc and bathroom has no grab rails for getting in and out of bath. But both actual shower and bath were lovely. Would definitely go back.

“First Class Apartment”

Many people have written reviews of this apartment previously so I will content myself by saying that the owners were charming and helpful and that during our stay we were very happy and content and that I think says it all! Thoroughly recommended.

“Stunning Apartment - Convenient Location - w/all the Amenities”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2015

I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice oasis right near the city center. The views were great and the photos of the apartment don't even do it justice. It is very sleek and modern and clean. I was traveling with 2 other women and the apartment had plenty of space and 2 showers, which I didn't realize initially. One of the bathrooms is ensuite, so it would also work for a couple that is traveling with 2 children. We ended up missing our first train out of Dublin and getting in around midnight, and Tommy's colleague Brenda had the kettle on for tea and was extremely gracious and flexible. We were also able to utilize the office on the 2nd floor? (maybe 1st according to the elevator buttons).. for booking tours. They set us up with a black cab tour which is 100% the best way to learn about the city's history and see the political murals throughout the area. The owner also provided a phone card which we used to call Value Cabs when we were going further and they came in about 5 minutes. Thank you again for such a fantastic stay!! #ragtagtrio

“Great flat in a wonderful location”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2015

We spent 5 nights in the flat in the Obel Tower and truly enjoyed our stay. Having rented various 4 and 5 star flats for our many visits to Belfast I was, at last, really pleased to rent one where the owner most certainly undersatnds the meaning of hospitality and of having an eye for Detail. The personal welcome - even at midnight - along with the excellent condition of the flat brought a glow to our hearts. Thanks a million.....we will be back!

“Amazing Apartment, perfect Location”

Reviewed 20 Feb 2015

Stayed here with friends for a weekend. The Apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Really clean, spacious and an amazing view of the titanic centre and Belfast Harbour. Thomas had breakfast bits, tea and milk left for us. Location is ideal, within walking distance of the city centre. Secure parking a bonus. Will definitely be back.

“Gorgeous apartment and I will definitely be going back.”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2014

Three of my friends and I stayed here for St. Patricks weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment itself was fabulous and very central. We walked everywhere as everything was if even a ten minute walk. Thomas the owner was so lovely and so helpful. The apartment was spacious and had every thing you need. I could not pick any fault with the apartment t all. I will without a doubt be back and would recommend it to everyone!!!!!

what a welcome !, our flight arrived at 0800 hrs and we met anne at the apartment at o830,having arranged early entry as the apartment was vacant the previous day, anne provided us with a welcome pack which included milk, bread, butter, orange juice, breakfast cerial, which was a great gesture, the location is very good for city centre bars restaurants, its on the fifth floor so it offers a great view over the docks area overlooking the odyssey arena, the titanic museum and Samson n goliath. the apartment is certainly a home from home, with all mod cons, free wi fi,and you can see that tommy and anne put a lot of effort into making their apartment special with attention to detail allround. i'm not complaining here, but if you have the windows open as we had due to the heat then it becomes noisy from the motorway traffic and trains, but if the windows are closed its not an issue.oh and can I just add that the obel tower block is security manned 24/7 by friendly security guys.overall its a fab apartment and we will be back, great city, great people.

“Great apartment in citycentre”

Dejlig centralt beliggende lejlighed i Belfast bymidte. Flot udsigt over havn og dockområde (kikkert står i vindueskarmen). Venlig hilsen Familien Toft Denmark
