“Most Enjoyable For Everyone!”

Reviewed 1 Oct 2017

We have just returned from a most enjoyable stay at Kareela. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well equipped. The welcome pack was very generous and very much appreciated. The boys/men all enjoyed their fishing, and the girls enjoyed watching the boats go by from the wonderfully comfortable conservatory. The dogs had a fantastic time running around the large and very secure garden. Great location for walks and sightseeing. Would most definitely recommend Kareela to our friends. Thank you Rob and Sian for being so helpful and accomodating.

“Well equipped lovely house”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2017

Lovely spacious house for a large family. The house is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Fishing from the garden was good, we caught many roach, rudd skimmers, bream and perch and 2 pike. Whilst catching the roach the pike would often attack them just before we could land them. The house is set in a lovely hamlet, ideal for those that want to just relax and watch the boats go by. There is a boat yard next door where you can hire a day boat, canoe or rowing boat to explore the broads, which we did. Wroxham was about 1hr away by day boat.

“Xmas Holiday”

Reviewed 31 Dec 2016

We booked this property as we have family in Norfolk and wanted an House big enough to be able to entertain them and the house certainly did that!!! The living and dining area are excellent for guests and we sat 12 around the dining table (sits 8 but a few extra chairs) with relative ease. The house is in a secluded lane and it is very quiet with the river at the bottom of your garden. As previous guests have noted, the fishing from your own garden must be really good fun and relaxing. The fourth bedroom downstairs with access to the downstairs shower room worked really well. Rob and Sian had prepared the house exceptionally for us. Two Xmas trees and decorations both inside and outside made our Xmas a real special one (thank you) To get any supplies was easy popping into Wroxham is a 5 minute drive and you've gotta love a bit of Roy!!!!! All in all, a really good property to rent out in a nice area to relax and take in the scenery! Thoroughly recommended.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your enquiry. We so pleased you found the house big enough to accommodate your extra family for dinner. Thanks for your booking this year and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

“Lovely house, great location, very helpful owners”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2016

Kareela is a lovely house in a great location with plenty of space both inside and out.Fully enclosed garden is great for dogs and children.Fishing from the end of the garden is both very good and entertaining with the pike seemingly attracted to baits intended for other species ! Also although it is in a secluded location there is easy access to Coltishall village and to nearby Wroxham. We would thouroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for this kind of holiday and thank you to Rob and Sian for making everything so welcoming and trouble free.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. Great to hear that the fishing lived up to expectations and offered a few surprises. We are delighted to hear that you would recommend our property. Thanks again for choosing our house this year and we look forward to welcoming you back when you return to the Norfolk Broads.

“Wonderful holiday at this property”

We've just returned from having a week at this clean & well maintanied property, our family joined us for the Easter weekend. With ages from 68 to 14, the house and surrounding area had something for everyone. We enjoyed watching the boats go by from the conservatory. The footpath just yards from the house leads to a nice walk into Coltishall, where we frequented both public houses on the river. The owners Rob & Sian were very responsive & accommodating to our every need. Would recommend this property & hope to return to it in the future.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your feedback. Its nice to hear that you enjoyed the surrounding areas and enjoyed the hospitality of the local pubs. Thanks again for your booking this year, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Belaugh in future. Many Thanks

“Fantastic holiday home, beautiful peaceful setting.”

A really beautiful property, very well maintained, with everything you need to make a perfect holiday. It is like staying in a 5* hotel, all modern and uptodate facilities. Great location only five minutes by car to local shops and set in the middle of the Norfolk Broads lots of attractions within easy distance. The conservatory overlooking the river is just so lovely and restful, watching the boats and wildlife. We hope to return again next year.

Owner's reply: Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location and were able to relax and have a restful holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back next year.

“A most relaxing holiday!”

Reviewed 28 May 2015

if you are seeking a quiet base for a week in Norfolk with access to the river and plenty of space for a larger group, then Kareela is ideal. The house is very clean with good linen and fluffy towels provided, and sparkling bathrooms and kitchen. It is very well equipped to meet the needs of a family, both for entertainment and for day to day living. It is set in a quiet village away from the noise of traffic and busy roads and has a large garden down to the river. Wroxham and Coltishall are readily accessible by boat or by car, and there is plenty to see and do in the local area. The owners ensure that they are in contact with you before and after the visit, and are available during your stay should you need them. A daily delivered newspaper is a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend Kareela to friends and family, and would jump at the chance to stay there again should we travel to Norfolk in the future!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Kareela and that everything was to your satisfaction. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

Beautiful house, comfortable, clean, relaxing, everything supplied that you need for a worry-free holiday. Well maintained garden, tremendous for fishing and room for a hired boat. Even a daily newspaper delivered, milk and wine for our arrival. Absolutely brilliant. Being able to take our three little dogs was the icing on the cake. Best holiday we have ever had. Thank you Sian and Rob for letting us share your 'home'.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the great review and we are so pleased you found the house to your liking. Sounds like the fishing came up trumps and we are glad you liked the newspaper delivered each day. We look forward to welcoming you back in future and very much appreciate you taking the time to write your review. Thank you very much.
