A typical Catalan villa in a very quiet residential spot just 4 minutes drive from the centre of upmarket Begur with its bars, restaurants, shops and markets. Beautiful and serene Aiguablava beach is just 5 minutes away with clear sea, fine sand and cliff-top walks and beach restaurants. There are many more beaches within 10 minutes drive.

Lie back and enjoy all day sun on the stunning south facing sun deck with private solar heated infinity pool. From poolside and the large terrace there are stunning views over the forest offering complete privacy and peace. There are also wonderful woodland walks.

In another secluded area of the garden sits the large brick BBQ - the BBQ area offers shade by day and evening sun.

The house is homely, stylish and well equipped with WiFi, numerous books, DVDS, CDs and TV.

Casa Francesca is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

The villa is built on 2 levels. The ground floor is just off the pool deck with a toilet and shower for easy access from pool. We have just built a great twin bedroom on this level - cool and spacious with it's own shower and toilet. Perfect for teenagers, grandparents or visiting friends. Upstairs there is a large enclosed covered terrace with gorgeous views and a large outdoor dining table. The terrace is child proofed so that toddlers can't access the pool alone. This leads through french doors directly into a large open plan kitchen and living room which can seat 6-8 people. There are 3 more bedrooms here. 1 double bedroom en suite, 1 room with twin beds and 1 room with large adult size bunk beds (3 in all). The main bathroom has a combined bath and shower.
To the side of the house is a large BBQ and seating area, refreshingly shady during the day but with warm evening sun. The property has a small surrounding garden with a selection of beautiful flowers and plants.
There's a basketball hoop for those who want a break from the sun beds! The property, pool and gardens all have good lights for nighttime.
There's space to park a car - although the road is very quiet.
For the winter months there's a brilliant wood burner that heats the whole house as well as radiators throughout.
We have Wi Fi / internet access. There's a large TV with Spanish channels as well as DVD player. There's an i-Pod speaker dock. There are hundreds of books. The house is stylish and homely.

There are a number of steps (approx 20) from the car parking area to the house itself so parents with small children or elderly people should keep this in mind. The secure area for toddlers is the terrace. The pool deck and pool area is not secure so young children must be supervised once they access these areas.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jeremy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
