“FANTASTIC LOCATION AND GREAT STAY”

Reviewed 11 May 2012

i stayed at the studio for 11 days. it was perfect for me. julie the owner was always so helpful to answer all queries even when i sent them via email in the middle of the night. the studio is a stone's throw away from the casino and shopping areas. there were buses to everywhere within a few mins walk and the taxi fare from the centre of monte carlo to the flat was only 10 euro. the view is spectacular and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. the kitchen had everything and the TV had all the uk channels in english. great studio.

“Excellent apartment, ideally situated”

Reviewed 8 May 2012

This apartment is in an ideal location and very reasonably priced. It's clean, spacious enough for two and ideally situated for all amenities. The owner is very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. There is an outdoor market every day selling fresh vegetables and salad foods. Fresh bread can be bought from various Boulangeries, which we did every day. There is also a large supermarket nearby which is also very reasonably priced and doesnt 'rip off' us tourists. I also recommend the butcher in Beausoleil, his shop is very clean and produce very good, he sells home made quiches and lasagne which are delicious, as well as various meats and poultry. After walking all day exploring Monte Carlo and surrounding areas, we didn't eat out but the apartment kitchen was more than adequate to cope with stir-frying the fresh market veg we bought. We had a take-away pizza one night from the Italian acrosss the road from the apartment, which was delivered to the door. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at breakfast time in the sunshine and plan the day from the large amount of leaflets the owner leaves for guests to look through, along with very good instructions of how to get to different bus stops etc. I can't recommend this apartment enough and would love to go back one day.
