Description

This spacious detached farmhouse is set in an 'area of outstanding natural beauty' - just 1.5 miles from Beaumaris town with its historic moated castle and boutique shops.

The house boasts stunning views all around, in the ideal setting for relaxation suiting couples and families of all ages. We have off-road parking within a gated driveway for up to 3 cars.

Access is via a coded keysafe and we will be in touch a few days before your arrival to let you know the code.

The master bedroom (with Kingsize Bed) has views in three different directions of beautiful rural Anglesey, Snowdonia, and Menai Straits - every window boasts a uniquely stunning view. This room is large enough to accommodate a travel cot (which we have provided) with plenty of extra space.

FRESH TOWELS & BEDDING ARE PROVIDED! All beds are made up before you arrive.

There are two Twin bedrooms upstairs, and a Double bedroom on the ground floor, so we can accommodate 8 adults comfortably.

There is a large family bathroom upstairs which has been tastefully refurbished including double-end bath and separate shower enclosure.

There is also a downstairs shower room with spacious quadrant shower enclosure, WC and washbasin.

The living room is a comfy place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside towards the Menai Straits & majestic Snowdonia mountain range through the patio doors. There is an open fire for those cooler evenings (we will provide a quantity of logs during the winter months). There is a 40" lcd tv with a DVD player, with freesat TV channels.

There is a Google Chromecast provided so that you can cast programmes to the television. We also have a stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can play your favourite iTunes while enjoying eachothers' company.

The house also has a separate TV Room (aka The Snug Room) with wall mounted flatscreen television which is great for the kids to watch films or for gaming (bring your own games console). We have recently added a "Bar Football" table to the Snug room, which has been very well received by our latest guests. Great for family competitions!

The large kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you would expect to find in a modern family kitchen including a dishwasher. The solid oak dining table will comfortably seat 8 people, there is also a high-chair provided. There is an electric oven/grill and electric hob. We do have a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink - and of course a wine cooler!

To the rear of the house is a patio area with picnic table and benches, great for enjoying a cool glass of wine on a warm summer evening and enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside with backdrop of the mountains. We do also have a lawn at the front of the house.

We provide all bedlinen and towels, and the gas/electricity is included in the rental price as well as WiFi for your convenience (password is in the guest info file at the house).

There is a barbecue provided at the property (bring your own charcoal/firefighters).

We also provide a 'guest information' booklet that is full of everything you need to know during your stay in our house - please do take a little time to read this when you arrive, and then you are ready to relax and enjoy your holiday.

We carry out all minor repairs and decorating work during the quieter winter months, to give the house some regular TLC.

The property is strictly no smoking, and we are unable to accommodate pets at this time.

Getting around

There is a local taxi service, A2B Cabs, details are provided in the guest information booklet at the property. The local no. 53 bus service will stop outside the house (there's no bus stop as it's a country lane but just wait by our gate and put your hand out when you see it approach!). Times vary depending on the day but there is one at least every hour. The walk into Beaumaris is 1.5m and pleasant in good weather, there are 2 routes to take and we recommend walking down Lon Cae Mawr as there is hardly ever any traffic using that route. Although both roads are quiet.

Interaction with guest

If guests would like to contact me prior to or during their stay to ask questions that is fine, although i have provided an information pack at the property which covers everything from "how to use the heating controls", to "places to eat in the local area". I don't mind guests contacting me by text or email, or even phone call if needed. Myself and my partner's mobile numbers are both provided, as well as our landline, and our email addresses.

“Multi generational Easter break”

The house was absolutely perfect for our group it’s really well equipped with everything you could need. We had my husband and myself, our 3 children and my mother and father in law. The bedroom and shower room downstairs were great for my father in law who has a problem with his hips and the table football/tv room for the kids was perfect for them to escape to plus 3 bedrooms upstairs So lots of space for us all and for Easter Eggs

We stayed at this property for 2 nights with another family, 4 adults and 4 children, very well equipped property, stunning views, very quiet and perfect for what we wanted. Had a great weekend here,house was large and spacious. Loved the quiet location but not too far from Beaumaris town, kids enjoyed the Puffin island boat trip they loved seeing the seals.

The location is amazing for exploring the Isle of Anglesey and Gwynedd. This is a magnificent, beautiful very spacious family-friendly home with all the amenities necessary to more than comfortably host a family of eight. Having travelled from Perth (Australia) we had a wonderful time with our family. The little extra's by the host - Christmas tree and decorations up and a welcoming bottle of cheer added a very personal touch. We couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you Louise for a wonderful experience which met our needs perfectly. We will always have very precious memories of Christmas 2017.

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend for our second stay at this lovely spacious holiday home. There was 8 of us and a toddler staying and there was more than enough room for everyone. Fully equipped with everything needed for your stay including the basics like coffee and condiments etc. Beaumaris is a beautiful place and close to so many attractions we had a fabulous weekend.

“Great Spacious cottage with great views”

Fantastic house, surrounded by countryside and great views that's just a short drive away from Beaumaris. The house was very comfortable, spacious and had all the facilities and amenities we needed. There were 8 of us staying (4 adults and 4 kids) and there was plenty of room for us all. Anglesey is beautiful and this property is a great base to go out and about to explore. We would certainly try to book here next time we visit Anglesey. We stayed the last weekend of April 2017

Beautiful, spacious holiday home in an idyllic location. We spent 4 nights there over the the May school break with extended family and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy all Anglesey has to offer, only wishing we where there for longer.

How do damage deposits work?
