Further details indoors

The cottage is spacious and well equipped, warm and cosy a real home from home so our previous guests have told us.
Come and see our Alpaca`s they are gorgeous.

Being part of an old farm there is plenty of room for parking, sitting out at the tables to take in the amazing views, letting the kids play or spot the Deer or Red Kites. Maybe you fancy a BBQ after your day touring. there is an area for that also.

“Fantastic cottage”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2016

We have just returned from a mini break and i wanted to write a review straight away after staying here. Myself husband and 3 boys stayed in this great cottage. On arrival we got a little lost, we called john the owner who was great. When we got there he met us and showed us around, saying if we needed anything we just had to ask. The cottage was spotlessly clean, perfect size for all of us. There was also the added extras which are often forgotten such as cloths, scourers, tea towels and washing up liquid in the kitchen, toilet rolls and soaps in the bathroom, and a hairdryer in the bedrooms. The view was amazing from the cottage, and there were alpaca's out the front and back in the fields which the children loved. I would highly recommend these cottages to all my friends and family and hope to be back ourselves, thanks John and family for a wonderful stay.

Hi Rachael, It was lovely to meet you and your family, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for such a great review. We hope to see you all again in the not too distant future. Thanks again and take care. Regards, John & Glynis.

“Just perfect”

Reviewed 27 May 2013

We stayed at this place just for 4 nights (way too short). The view out the windows and the front door is just incredible. So is the excellent interior. The Rooms are all equipped on a high standart, it's very clean and the bath with separate shower and bathtube is better than you would expect from any 4 star hotel. We couldn't ask for more. The kitchen equipement is also very good. We called on a Sunday about lunchtime if we could come and stay for 4 nights and arrived the same evening. The host waited in the village to guide us. After the breathtaking way up we entered our hoiday home finding milk bread and butter already in the fridge for next days breakfast. We also enjoyed the walks down to the beautifull village. This place is ideal for children who can play safely outside. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for this pleasant stay.

Thank you for your kind review and we are so please you enjoyed your stay in Kilmorack Cottage. We look forward to welcoming you again hopefully when you can stay a little longer and explore more of the area

“OK, a bit tight for 5 adults”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2012

nice accommodation, beautiful views, clean, pleasant owner. limited space to place luggage & clothing for 5. When inclement weather, idem to hang wet coats or bathtowels... after an amazing accommodation in 'Tolsta', Helensburgh, this one fell short in quality & price... best suited for 4 or less people.

Thank you for your valued comments, any feedback is most welcome if it helps us improve our guests experience,we should have maybe pointed out the clothes hanger in the airing cupboard for drying clothes on damp days. The description of the cottage states there is 1 double, 1 twin and a double sofa bed in the living room and you are correct in saying it is more suitable for families and not 5 or 6 adults. We try to upgrade and improve after each seasons guest feedback.I am pleased that you would still recommend us to your best friend.Thank you again for your valued feedback.
