The Apartment.

The apartment is modern, luxurious, bright and sleeps 2 adults very comfortably. It is not suitable for children and is limited to a maximum of 2 adult guests per booking. It is located on the top floor and has views over gardens with exotic planting, Beaulieu sur mer and its beautiful belle epoque buildings, and most importantly a panoramic view of the Mediterranean from Cap Ferrat to Cap d'Ail.

We also have a motor yacht available - she is a Cranchi CSL27 called "ViMaVi" with a Volvo Penta engine 5.7lt - 320bhp and a berth in the beautiful old Port des Fourmis, Beaulieu sur mer. If you hold a valid boating permit you can enjoy both the panoramic view of the Mediterranean from the apartment and also sailing the Med on ViMaVi!

The flat has been recently renovated to a very high standard and the sympathetic renovation of the apartment was done by Philippe Basso (BVB Batiment) and the interior designer was Gwenaëlle Basso (Décoration

The flat has been recently renovated to a very high standard and the sympathetic renovation of the apartment was done by Philippe Basso (BVB Batiment) and the interior designer was Gwenaëlle Basso (Décoration D'interieur Gwen Deco). The kitchen was designed and installed by RBC (Montpellier) and made by Varenna (Italy) with appliances by Miele and Novy. The gated access to the apartment is 50 meters from the main square of Beaulieu - Place Marinoni. A pleasant flower garden leads you to the secure entrance and entrance hall with its new elevator to take you to the fifth and top floor.

The balconies to the front and rear of the apartment not only provide beautiful views, but also allow an excellent through-flow of cool air. However, if needed, the apartment has two zone air conditioning (lounge and bedroom). Meals can be enjoyed either on the front balcony or at the marble table in the kitchen area, which is well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, induction hob and hood, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and sink.

The fully tiled bathroom has a walk in Italian shower together with heated towel rail, vanity unit with wash hand basin and illuminated mirror. The bedroom is to the rear of the apartment and has its own small balcony looking towards the Grande Corniche and the mountains. Off the bedroom is a useful dressing area complete with top loading Bosch washing machine.

Beaulieu sur mer

Beaulieu is a charming small town - or as some say - large village with Place Marinoni as its main square. Indeed, Place Marinoni has a daily food market each morning and a larger market on Saturdays and is the focus of many interesting social events. This charming sea side resort is well served with shops and restaurants all of which are within 5 minutes walk, as are the beaches, ports and recently refurbished Casino. Public transport (train and bus) are also within a few minutes walk if you want to travel further afield - Nice and Monaco are delightful - they are only approximately 10 minutes by train. Nice International Airport is only 25 mins by taxi or bus and is located at the end of the wonderful Promenade des Anglais.

The main Port de Plaisance has some wonderful restaurants including the famous African Queen - where celebrities are often spotted and an ice cream shop to die for! It leads to the Petit Afrique public beach and Zelo's private beach both of which are excellent. Beside the charming old port is the Baie de Fourmis which also has public and private beach areas. The nearby Villa Grecque is well worth a visit, and for those special occasions a meal and the service at La Réserve de Beaulieu are superb and highly recommended.

The walk to St Jean/CapFerrat with its beautiful views of the coastline is highly recommended. You pass Villa Fleur once owned by the actor David Niven and the wonderful Villa Rothschild - with its amazing gardens - Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild. The walk to Villefranche and a visit to the old town with its citadel is also charming.

On the other side of Beaulieu you can walk to Eze with its small unspoiled harbour and Fragonard perfumery which is open to visitors. There are several other interesting walks around Beaulieu and there is even a guided tour of the Belle Epoque buildings of Beaulieu - please ask in the tourist information office.

Prices and Booking Information.

Please use the Contact the Owners button to Email us direct either to enquire or make a booking - we pay Holiday Lettings an annual fee so that we can deal direct with our guests and offer you a very personal booking service. The minimum stay is one week - this is without exception - handover days are flexible. The prices cited exclude a one-off cleaning and bed linen charge - all prices are subject to change at the owners discretion. There is no charge for the use of the Garage and a Cave is also available for storage of bicycles, cases etc.

Payment in sterling via PayPal or Bank Transfer Welcomed.

Please note a deposit of 20% of the rental amount is payable upon making the booking - the balance is due 2 months before the booking date. A totally refundable Security Deposit of £200 required with the final balance payment . The deposit will be refunded within 7 days of your departure - subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.

Finally, there is a charge of £50 for cleaning and bed linen change. We will welcome you to the flat and take time to show you around the flat, indeed, we will stay on our boat in the Port des Fourmis for a few days during your stay so we will be nearby if you need anything. You will find a "Welcome Pack" (Milk, Mineral Water and Wine etc!) upon arrival which will save you going the the supermarket until you have had time to settle in. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided - as are beach towels etc - for your convenience. For bookings of more than a week fresh bed linen and towels will be provided. For longer rentals a weekly cleaning and bed linen changing service can be

provided if required at the cost of £50 per week.

Conditions.

Strictly No Smoking Permitted. Strictly No Pets Permitted - unless agreed by the owners and in advance. The apartment is simply not suitable for children and is limited to a maximum of 2 adult guests per booking.

“Small but sublime.”

The apartment is on the top floor of an undistinguished building but has the advantage of a new lift. It is when you get inside that it becomes apparent that the owners have completely renovated the apartment in superb style and with the best possible equipment, even down to the robot floor cleaner. The apartment is minimalist and absolutely pristine and would only suit those who are prepared to treat it with the care it deserves. It has all the cooking, washing and storage facilities that you should need and everything is new, clean and properly explained. There is an excellent view over the bay from the main terrace, and a rear terrace for afternoon sunbathing. There are excellent food shops, a market and several good restaurants within a hundred yards or so, and it is only a short walk to the port. The owners are both delightful and went out of their way to ensure that we had a perfect stay. We did, and have already booked to come again.
