“Remote house in the beautiful wild west of Ireland”

Reviewed 16 Oct 2016

This large house is situated on a hillside with views of mountains and hills all around. The house is well furnished with five bedrooms and a huge open plan dining/ sitting area. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large utility room with washing machine and dryer. We found the house comfortable but because of the hard surfaces it could be noisy if there were more people. There was a lack of information about the appliances which was a bit frustrating sometimes and the directions to find the house were minimal, taking us longer than we expected to find it, especially as signposts were minimal as well. There is one other house close by, but apart from that, no buildings in sight,. Wonderful walking country, but no shop or pub/restaurant within walking distance and it get s dark, very dark!.

“Comfortable holiday home with lovely views.”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2013

From the very nice welcome at the start to the morning we left we enjoyed our stay. House is very comfortable with all facilities we required. All that was advertised on the website was trur. Our week seemed to fly by. The owner made us feel very welcome, with tea and homemade cupcakes as we arrived. Neighbours dog was very friendly with the children. Seems he has made many frineds at this house! Very quiet and peaceful place, right in the Ring of Kerry. Easy access by car to lots of nice scenic and peaceful places. A memorable holiday.
