Spent a fabulous week. Accomadation was spot on! Everything had been thought of, not a bad word to be said! Beautiful location and one of the best beaches in the area! Will definately be returning.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the lovely review, I do try to make it a real home from home.

“Excellent holiday accommodation”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2014

Excellent holiday accommodation. It easily accommodated 2 adults, 3 children and a dog. Property was very clean and tidy on arrival. Very quiet and peaceful location. Very close to local beaches (within a 5 min walk). Local village has a little shop and several places to eat. Seahouses is less than a 10 min drive with shops and supermarket and plenty of places to eat in or takeaway. It was the perfect location for a family holiday. We will be visiting again to explore more of the coastline.

“Christmas at Beadnell - 21 to 28 December 2013”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2014

An excellent property and so spacious. Everything was clean and in working order. Cooking a Christmas lunch posed no problem, lots of equipment, large kitchen and dining area and a good sized fridge/freezer. We pre-ordered our Christmas food shopping from Marks and Spencer and collected from the store in Berwick on Tweed. There is also a good selection of shops in Alnwick and Berwick on Tweed (both a short distance away) - and of course some supermarkets offer home delivery. We were already very familar with the area but the location of the property just a few minutes from the beach made it very special. A walk on the beach on Boxing Day after breakfast was just what we needed. The weather was not very kind to us but we ventured out each day knowing that the property was well heated and so cosy on our return. Would love to make a return visit in the summer and make use of the garden area.

“Fabulous location for a relaxing holiday”

Reviewed 9 Jun 2013

We stayed at Longlands Retreat for a week at the end of May. The bungalow is really well presented & equipped with everything you could need. It easily accomodated 4 adults, 2 kids & a dog, providing a really relaxing home from home after a day on the beach or sightseeing. Beadnell Bay is a superb sweeping bay with lovely soft sand & when the tide is low, great rockpools that kept our kids entertained for hours, a great place to enjoy the sun with a drink & a bbq. We ate out at beadnell Towers & would recommend it to anyone wanting first class food & surroundings it also had a pool table which kids loved.

“Comfortable & Well Equipped Accommodation”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2013

We stayed here over the Xmas and New Year Holiday period. Perfect size accommodation for a family holiday (there were two adults and two teenage children in our party). Bungalow was well equipped with everything we needed, and is provided to an excellent standard of cleanliness. Close to beach and local amenities all within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

“Home from home within short walk of lovely beaches”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2012

Enjoyed our stay in this well equipped bungalow. Ideal for long walks along the beach which our dog loved. Visited the Craster Arms in the village a couple of times as it was dog friendly. Left feeling totally relaxed and looking forward to visiting again in the future to recharge our batteries.

“Absolutely fabulous”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2012

This property certainly has the "wow" factor. Everything provided for and to a very high standard. The games room went down well with the teenage daughter as did the docking station for the MP3 player!! Lovely quiet location in the centre of Beadnell and literally 5 minutes walk from the beach. There is a sheltered garden to the rear of the property with a decking area which we look full advantage of - regardless of the weather! This is a beautiful property and I would recommend it to anyone, in fact don't bother looking anywhere else - just book it!! Fabulous!

“A lovely property beautifully decorated like home from home - fab!”

Reviewed 6 Nov 2011

My husband, I, two teenagers and one 7 year old stayed here for 4 nights at half term. It was very easy to locate the property, when we arrived it was beautifully decorated and everything ready for us. The owner even thoughtfully placed some milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine. I organised a tesco delivery for just after our arrival. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the lovely golden beach. A great location to go and visit the area. The property worked well for us because there were two sitting rooms so the teenagers had their own space. The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Everything you could possible need had been provided. Thank you.
