Woodbrook is an elegant Georgian style family house set in a large one acre garden. The house is 12 minutes walk from Beaconsfield railway station and town centre with shops, English pubs and restaurants. It is only a 35 minute train journey to central London. Beaconsfield is a historic market town on the old coach route from London to Oxford, with many buildings from the 16th and 17th century. It is famous for having the oldest pub in England, “The Royal Standard of England.” Bekonscot, a model village that delights children and adults alike, is a local attraction. Woodbrook can provide comfortable homely accomodation for one or two familes who wish to be within easy reach of central London but also well placed to visit Windsor and Oxford.

The house is well set back from the road, with a large, leafy driveway and surrounded by a large, secluded garden of over one acre, which is mainly lawn, flowerbeds and mature trees. The patio is equipped for outdoor eating and has a gas barbecue. The garden provides ample space for children to play and for adults to relax. The garden area is completely secue with the only access to the driveway and road being through a locked 2 metre high gate or through the house.

One wing of the house is separately occupied and not available to guests. This wing has a self contained 2 person apartment on the first floor and a studio apartment on the ground floor. The studio aprtment is retained for the owner's use and may be unoccupied. The main house where guests will be staying is completely seperate from these aprtments which adjoin only the utility room area of the main house. The large rear garden is for the exclusive use of the guests in the main house. The front driveway is shared with the apartments, but there is ample parking space for everyone.

The front door opens into an elegant hallway with a downstairs cloakroom and a coat cupboard. A large living room (32 x 14 feet) is furnished in a classical English country house style, with comfortable settees and armchairs, mirrors, works of art and antique pieces. It is equipped with a TV/DVD and music centre. In winter months the open fire (log effect gas fire) enhances the atmosphere. A formal dining room with an antique open fireplace seats 10 and up to 12 is necessary. The TV room has a second TV and DVD player and opens directly onto the garden terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast table seating up to 8.

On the first floor there are three double bedrooms. The master bedroom with a king size double bed has a marble en-suite bathroom, with bath and shower. This bedroom has wonderful views over the large garden. The second bedroom is very spacious and has a king size double bed. the thrird bedroom has a double bd and lage wardrobe. The second and third bedrooms on this floor share a family bathroom.

On the second floor there are two further bedrooms. A very large triple aspect room with a double bed and seating area and a smaller room with a single bed and a futojn that can open to provide a single or small double bed. Two further single beds single beds can be provided on this floor and placed either in the large room or on the galleried landing area, The second floor has its own attractive bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.

In all there is accomodation for 10 or with the two additional single beds on the second floor for a maximum of 12 persons.
