La Casa Blanca is a room & lounge only accommodation. Breakfast & evening meals are available by discussion with the owners. The property is located in a fertile valley in a rural location. La Casa Blanca is in the small hamlet of Los Castellanos,nestled in the foothills of the Sierra de Baza Mountain Range. Nearby Balax is a small, typical Spanish farming community, where the locals still tend their crops of olives, almonds, grapes, cherries and vegetables. Even though located just a 60 minute drive from the coast, the villagers still continue the traditions of centuries past, living off the land and harvesting their crops to sell at the local markets. An ideal place to stay when touring rural Spain.
The owners live on site, so should you require any assistance, they are always on hand to help. They will be there to greet you upon arrival and will then show you to your accommodation.
The guest accommodation is separate within the main house, with it's own entrance and has two double bedrooms (each with a double bed), shower room and a small lounge which can seat 4 people and includes tea and coffee making facilities and DVD player. There are no cooking facilities, although, meal requirements [Breakfast, Evening Meal], may be discussed with the owners should they be required.
Outside is a large private terrace, with extensive and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and mountains. The terrace also has a table and chairs and sunbeds, loungers and parasols for sun bathing and star gazing at night.
Situated between the Sierra Nevadas and Sierra Cazorla mountains, La Casa Blanca is perfectly placed, for a wide range of activities including, Walking, Rambling, Cycling, Motor Cycling, Horse Riding in Baza, Bird Watching, Fishing in one of the four stunningly beautiful lakes,Photography, Star Gazing, Ski-ing in the winter months in the Sierra Nevadas at Granada.
The area is a Mecca for those interested in Natural and Ancient History. Surrounded by four National Parks, and four Lakes, one the second largest in Europe, there is a never ending variety of things to do and see
Granada is nearby with a superb range of retail therapy outlets if needed. The Alhambra Palace, probably the most visited of the areas - of Spain's vast attractions is surrounded with a host of places of antiquity & places of interest to visit.

Situated between the Sierra Nevada and Cazorla mountains the area around La Casa Blanca boast four National Parks, four Lakes of stunning beauty. Excellent restaurants serving a wide range of traditional dishes are in the area, dine whilst enjoying breathtaking vistas.
Walking, Rambling, Cycling, Motor Cycling with a renown course nearby, Horse Riding, Bird Watching, Star Gazing, Ski-ing in the winter months in the Sierra Nevadas at Granada, and of course, swimming in one of the four lakes sparkling waters.
