The Bavaria region

Often referred to as the "Green Roof" of Europe, the border region between Germany and the Czech Republic is home to 2 National Parks, the Bayerischer Wald (D) and the Sumava (CZ), numerous mountain peaks above 1000 meters, glacial lakes, Glass-makers, Schnapps producers and numerous traditional festivals. In winter the region has some of the most reliable snow conditions in Germany.
