Private securely fenced garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue, games pitch, giant daughts board, table tennis table.Fishing 30 meters awayplus golf One of the best courses in Morbihan is Golf de Saint-Laurent at Ploemel near CARNAC. It was established in 1975 and is attractively laid out among oak, pine and chestnut trees. It hosted the French PGA Championship in 1988 and 1989. Its broad, gently undulating fairways and well-kept greens will encourage your game.18 holes, 6,686 yards, par 72*************************************Golf de Baden, set amongst pine trees and broom next to the Auray River, offers superb views separated from the practice area by 100 year old oak trees. Beware, however, of strategic water, which affects play on 9 of the holes and concentrates the mind wonderfully. The pitch and putt practice course welcomes all beginners.18 holes, 6,722 yards, par 72*************************************The nearest course is Golf de Rimaison, at Bieuzy-des-Eaux, only 10 minutes drive from us. (Tel: 02 97 27 74 03). Situated on a historic site, this 9 hole, par 35 course provides panoramic views of the Blavet Valley. A naturally hilly situation tests skill rather than strength. Golfers of all handicaps can enjoy playing the game all year round.9 holes, 2,582 yards, par 35*************************************Val Quéven, near Lorient, is a splendid course set amid beautiful woodland. Not quite as difficult as some of the other courses in the area. It has excellent facilities which include good lunch time food, covered range and pitch and putt.18 holes, 6,724 yards, par 73*************************************The parkland course at Ploemeur-Ocean enjoys fine views from its elevated situation. Though only seven years old it plays like a much more mature course. There are plenty of water hazards here to catch the unwary.18 holes, 6,410 yards, par 72*************************************Rhuys-Kerver is an enjoyable links course with an attractive club house.18 holes, 6,724 yards, par 73*************************************La Bretesche is a magnificent course, and something of a legend in French golf. The closing holes are particularly memorable.18 holes, 6,649 yards, par 72.

Location description from owner

The Brittany region

Brittany is one of Frances favourite holiday destinations. There are over 600km of coastline with fabulous sandy beaches, rocky coves, dramatic cliffs, pretty harbours and offshore islands to explore.

Inland there are woodlands and river valleys, and charming historic towns and villages to visit and dont miss the prehistoric standing stones at Carnac, one of the mysterious wonders of France.

Baud

Whatever your interests Treblavet offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy the many pleasures of Morbihan. For the family, the many beaches offer hours of endless pleasure from the safe beaches of Carnac to the Atlantic waves off the Quiberon peninsula. In the area you can go wind -surfing, sail-boarding, diving, go-karting, and quadbiking. The Golf courses of St Laurent and Rimaison are but ahort drive away with special discounts available to visitors (please ask for details).

On the cultural front for art lovers visit Pont Aven where Gaugain lived, the Pont Scorff art centre, the summer art exhibition in chapels of the Blavet Valley. The submarine pen at Lorient is one for the boys and for music lovers the Lorient Celtic festival and Vannes Jazz festival are not to be missed.

For the whole family the colourful markets of Auray, Hennebont and Vannes offer an incredible variety of local produce, notably seafoods such as mussels and oysters. But, if you don’t feel like preparing these yourself then go to one of the many restaurants that offer these local specialities. Moules frites, Oysters, Crepes and local cider.

Treblavet is just 10 minutes walk from the Restaurant du Pecheurs, and the pretty riverside path along the Blavet which is also great for post lunch bike rides! Also a famous area in the region for anglers and aspiring artists to see the fish, otters and kingfishers. There is a swimming lake and canoes can be hired (July & August) to explore the Blavet from the water. For children there is an exciting ropes course at Camors and the famous preserved 17th century village of Poul Fetan are both within a 10 minute drive.
