Quaint, cosy 17th century cottage located in Battle, East Sussex. Close to Hastings seaside resort, Little Orchard is located within 5 minutes walk to Battle High Street or it is a 2 minute drive. It is nestled in the heart of the 1066 countryside of the historic Battle of Hastings. The historic Battle Abbey welcomes all visitors and English Heritage members. Battle Town has brilliant shops, pubs and restaurants and is also great for walking holidays. Little Orchard can sleep up to 4 people, 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the lounge on a small 2 seater sprung sofa bed.

Ideally 2 adults and 2 small children or 3 adults

You enter through the front door past the toilet and kitchen into the front room which consists of exposed beams, a log burner, Sky TV, Netflix DVD, CD player, Wii and Internet WiFi. Available are a few Wii games and a large selection of DVDs, some CDs and a selection of board games. The kitchen is equipped with a electric cooker, washing machine, coffee maker and a toaster. There is a separate toilet and bathroom has bath and shower. The lovely sunny lower patio offers dining for two, ideal for an early sunshine breakfast with steps leading up to the cottage garden laid to lawn and flower beds comprising a heated external Breeze house offering out door dining area suitable for all guests. Arrival 3pm Vacate 10am.

Why can't I call Liz (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Liz (the owner) a message.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
