Description from owner

Description

Honeysuckle Cottage was converted from a calf-building some years ago - after the former 300 cow dairy farm ceased to operate as a working farm. The cottage is on two levels and overlooks a central island lawned area which was once the main farmyard. It is believed the old Hastings to London coach route once crossed Park Farm via this farmyard. Honeysuckle Cottage sleeps up to four guests, has a fireplace and a fully fitted kitchen and is centrally heated. It has been awarded a four-star rating by Visit Britain's Quality in Tourism Scheme. The ground-floor double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (shower over the bath) and the first-floor twin bedroom has an ensuite showerroom/WC which is accessed by a Victorian spiral staircase. Our guests also enjoy the convenience of a coin-operated laundry. Outside the cottage is a private patio with lampost illumination and the farm's 106 acres of woods, fields and walking trails afford our guests plenty of opportunity to unwind

Seaside towns like Hastings, Bexhill and Rye are all within easy reach as are the many castles, country houses and formal gardens here in '1066 Country'. London sightseeing and culture are only 1 hour and twenty minutes distant by train from Battle or Crowhurst rail stations. Guests can even enjoy horse riding over Park Farm trails courtesy of the nearby riding school and our own donkeys, ponies and horses all enjoy the attention from our guests.
