The apartment has underfloor heating and is finished with polished porcelain tiles throughout giving a comfortable environment all year round. The living area has a contemporary chaise longue, Freeview TV and DVD Player. To one corner there is a black glass topped table with stainless steel legs and seating for four. All the lighting is dimmable and the dining lights can be pulled down over the table to create the perfect ambiance. The sharp white kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, double oven, 5 ring hob and extractor hood. All the utensils, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery you could need. The Bedroom has a Kingsize Double bed, walk-in wardrobes with plenty of hangers, tall storage units and a full length mirror. The bright, white bathroom comprising of a large wet shower area, wash basin, WC, Mirrored storage unit. There is also a utility room with iron and ironing board, small freezer, washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

The exterior courtyard is a real sun trap and has the advantage of some fantastic views of the surrounding country side, a great place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine and a barbecue.

Try Bath Bike Hire to get onto National Cycle Route 4, go left to beautiful Bradford-On-Avon go right to bustling Bristol. Great pubs along the way to enjoy!

"Nice apartment with all mod cons"

This apartment is very cleverly designed to offer you everything you could need while staying near Bath: a very comfy bed, a bathroom with nice shower, a lovely kitchen, very well equipped, a nice settee and TV with lot of dvds to choose from, if you're staying in for the night. If the weather is nice, there is a small patio and you can sit outside and enjoy the views at the back. You can park your car into a very tight parking place: you will need to press it into the foliage, so that a neighbour and her bike can pass by, as they have right of way over this space, in order to get out of their back yard. At the front, where your bedroom is, is a busy road; the room is on the ground floor, right next to the pavement. However, late at night, after about 11 pm, it gets very quiet, and we had restful nights, and weren't bothered by traffic noise at all. Instead of driving on the tortuous London Rd into Bath (jams every day), take the bus, which stops just nearby and takes you right to the centre. The information given is very extensive; the owners will help you should you have any more questions.

"Excellent-Highly Recommended"

Stayed for 4 nights. Excellent communication prior to the trip. I received an A-Z document giving all the information I needed. The owners were more than helpful and the accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable. The apartment was stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The location is perfect, quiet but 10 minutes from Bath city centre. There are pubs nearby serving great food and also old-style pubs. Looking forward to coming back one day.

"Midweek 2 night stay"

We had a lovely stay at perfect for two. It's like a home from home and the location is great for Bath. There are lots of lovely walks nearby down the canal and the river and to the local pubs. Andrew was lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend this

"Perfect apartment in perfect location"

Immaculate apartment in convenient location with easy access into Bath. Good pubs serving great food within a reasonable walking distance. Great for walks in surrounding countryside offering breathtaking views over the valley. 268 is very well maintained and equipped - a real home from home. There are a couple of shops nearby for milk etc. if we Visit Bath again we would definitely stay here again.

"This property is Perfect for 2"

The property is exceptionally clean and well presented. Although we did not cook it is well set up for self catering. The property is well located for visiting Bath with regular bus services passing by and the bus stop only about 100 metres from the property. The property has its own laundry. The property is self catering, you need your own shampoo, soap etc, but towels are provided

"Excellent accommodation"

We stayed here for New Year and found the accommodation to be exactly as advertised: perfect for two. Very close to Bath city centre, which is easily accessible via car or bus. Also has a local convenience store and a couple of pubs down the road, so its location is perfect. Because we only stayed three nights and prioritised our daytime activities in the centre of Bath we didn't take advantage of the local walks that are available, but if we went back we'd definitely do so. Would heartily recommend it.

"Brilliant base for a weekend in Bath!"

Small apartment but immaculately clean and homely with all the necessities like cooking utensils, bin bags etc. I would absolutely recommend this place and would return if staying in Bath again.

"Superb `tres chic` holiday apartment"

Everything at 268 was absolutely perfect. The location in Batheaston is just a ten minute drive from the centre of Bath with its excellent historic buldings, great shopping and zillions of restaraunts....yet the apartment is in such a lovely and quiet location. The property is the downstairs floor of a two storey cottage, which has its own parking space and decked area complete with table and chairs and views, and surrounded by some lovely herbage so its also quite private. It is also just a 100m stroll from the River Avon where you can take a circular walk down by the river and the many swans and ducks, to the weir and toll bridge and have a drink and a lovely meal (which we did!) in the Bathampton Mill bar and restaraunt. Lovely place. We met the wonderful and friendly owners Andrew and Karen on the day we arrived and they gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything about the apartment to us. A lovely couple. The apartment itself is very modern and quite luxurious. Every inch of space in this old but lovingly restored property has been perfectly utilised by the owners, who designed and remodelled this apartment themselves. The main living area is a mix of lounge, dining and kitchen and is a perfect and very easy to use space. The whole apartment has underfloor heating with a lovely tiled floor with each room individually controlled. So it is really perfect for all seasons! The Kingsize Double bed was one of the most comfortable beds that we have ever slept in! There was also tons of hanging space for all our luggage (which was plenty) as we were en route to our Daughters wedding! The bathroom is compact yet perfectly designed like the rest of the apartment and has a great wet room shower. Our stay at 268 was perfect. It matched everything we needed for our time in the area and we would certainly stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to our family and friends.

"Modern, spacious and friendly"

A lovely modern apartment with pretty well everything you would want, in a good location with a bus stop almost at the door ( much better than trying to drive in Bath). Unit is warm, comfortable with excellent facilities and space to put suitcases and "things". Although it is located on a main road it is surprisingly quiet and has off street parking (although it is a bit of a tight squeeze)
