Description

This converted barn is one of three cottages situated at the end of a quiet lane on the family's working sheep farm in the picturesque village of Kelston. Although only ten minutes from the center of Bath and 20 minutes from Bristol it is set in beautiful countryside surrounded by rolling hills.

It is a cosy single storey property with a luxuriously large corner whirlpool bath, gas fired 'wood burning stove' and pretty wrought iron bed.The exposed brickwork and beams give this cottage a romantic country feel.

'The Old Crown Inn' , a traditional West country pub, is just a ten minute walk down to the village. Here you can enjoy a wide range of reasonably priced food and a good selection of beverages including local real ales and cider.

There are many fantastic walks from the cottages. These include a walk up to 'Kelston Round Hill' from which you can take in panoramic views over Bath and Bristol. For the more adventurous the Cotswold

“Beautiful!”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2016

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautifully located cottage just outside of bath. The owner was very helpful and also sent us clear directions to the cottage. When we arrived there was a tea pot with cups and saucers placed on the table with biscuits. And a bottle of wine with two glasses. We also loved the fire place and the whirlpool bath! Bath was just a 10 minute drive which we enjoyed very much looking in the shops, visiting the Roman baths and the thermae spa. It was a very cosy, relaxing holiday just what we were looking for! Thank you! We would love to come back soon!
