Oldford Farmhouse is a superb 16th Century property in a fabulous rural West Country location. It is a perfect property for holidays and weekend getaways in the Somerset countryside. We pride ourselves in providing the little extras which make a stay most memorable and have many, many repeat bookings from satisfied guests looking to share with family and friends.
We are in the hamlet of Oldford, just north of Frome, which is a thriving and popular market town with many independent shops, two theatres, cinema, sports centre, good pubs and restaurants and regular festival events. Bath is just 12 miles away and an ideal venue for shopping, dining out and host to many cultural experiences. There are many tourist attractions in our area, such as Longleat, Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village, Glastonbury, Stonehenge and much, much more.

The Farmhouse has seven large bedrooms and can sleep for 22 guests with accommodation on three floors. Cots and highchairs can be arranged free of charge. The kitchen is superbly equipped and the utility room has extra space with additional fridges/freezers and heating cabinets. There are two lounges, both with log burners and comfortable chairs, TVs, DVDs and music players. The dining room seats for 22 and can be configured to suit your needs.
The large private walled garden has a patio and flat lawn, perfect for games, marquees or relaxing. We provide a charcoal BBQ and garden furniture in the warmer months. The Farmhouse is in a lovely courtyard setting, surrounded by fields and riverside orchards and has plenty of off-road parking.
We have excellent transport links, with local railway stations in Frome (Bristol - Weymouth), Westbury (Padddington - Penzance) and Warminster (Waterloo - Exeter). Bristol Airport is under an hour away and we are also on a local bus link with Bath.
