Sun Inn cottage is a delightful cottage nestled in the centre of Torpenhow close to the Lake District National Park. Enjoying uninterrupted views across the Fells at the front and across the the Solway from the rear garden. Ideal to discover the Lake District, Solway Coast and even South Scotland. Only 15 minutes from Keswick and close to Bassenthwaite Lake. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard with lovely kitchen with dish washer. The lounge has L shaped sofa TV with DVD and dining table. The cottage has Wifi and Xbox console with games. The bedroom layout is Ideal for a couple or family holiday. The cottage has a rear garden with patio area ideal for eating as you watch the sun set across the Solway. The quiet lanes are ideal for cycling, offering gentle family friendly routes. The nearest Pub is 1 mile away along a quiet lane.

Torpenhow is very central for all areas of the Northern Lake District. You can be at the sea (Solway coast in 20 minutes) Carlisle (Great Border City in 25 minutes) or even Scotland in 35 minutes. (Gretna Green) If you choose to walk you can walk onto the fells straight from the cottage. Binsey is closest and back of SKiddaw.

Bassenthwaite

Torpenhow is a small quiet village with no through road, so very little traffic. It has many walks. There is a village hall which has weekly functions. Within walking distance there are several good Public Houses/Restaurants.
