“Peaceful location in lovely gardens near to many National Trust properties”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2019

We received a lovely welcome on arrival from Trev and Cath and were delighted to find one of Cath's home made apple pies in the fridge. The bungalow was comfy and the kitchen area very well equipped. Trev & Cath had also provided a box with local maps and plenty of 'places to visit' leaflets. The surrounding area was lovely and peaceful, almost in the middle of nowhere, which suited us fine. We arrived with plenty of provisions as we knew there wasn't a shop nearby. We would definitely recommend the property as a peaceful relaxing location.

“Wonderful Stay”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2017

We recently stayed at Sleepy Hollow for 5 nights and loved it. The cottage is cozy, warm and homely. It is equipped with everything you'll need and the location is beautiful. Cathy and Trevor are lovely hosts and Cathy even left a delicious homemade apple pie for us. If anyone is going to this area, I'd highly recommend you stay at Sleepy Hollow.

Owner's reply: How kind of you to leave such a lovely review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and would be delighted to welcome you back at some time in the future. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

“An enjoyable holiday in the Somerset countryside”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2016

The cottage was comfortable and well appointed, the landlords were responsive and friendly. We were encouraged to pick apples from the garden and we gathered blackberries from the hedgerows. A memorable holiday - thank you.

Owner's reply: We are pleased the three of you enjoyed your stay and your holiday was memorable. We certainly enjoyed seeing your photos of your 2011 trip and trust you had good return journeys to the US and Canada.
