Description

The Granary is a converted barn, with a large lounge which has a vaulted ceiling, a log burner and original beams. There is a TV with DVD player and surround sound in the lounge, underfloor heating and super fast broadband.

The solid wood kitchen is fully fitted with a gas range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a dining table for six.

Fitted out in oak the property has a old world feel.

There is a log burner, a BBQ and outside area with grass lawn and seating.

Set in a quiet location, the local shop and pub are just 5 minutes walk away. Several local beaches are a short drive away.

Barnstaple train station is 5km away and buses run from the village of Landkey.

Interaction with guest

Guests will receive an email with all the information they need including how to access the property a week before their stay. We are just across the courtyard in the Farmhouse and happy to help with anything our guests might need. If guests would like to order groceries to be delivered before their arrival, we are happy to meet the driver and pack the groceries into the kitchen.

“The Granary, Barnstaple”

I would highly recommend staying here. A lovely location close to main road routes to tour Devon. The converted barn is newly renovated and the rooms are lovely and clean. Beds are also very comfortable. Very specious kitchen and lovely lounge area. Devent size TV too with surround sound. There is also plenty of parking. Kate and Jim are great hosts and are on hand if you need anything. Thank you for a great stay and I'd definitely book again. Carolyn
