Rose Cottage is the perfect family cottage, spacious and contemporary with all the luxury facilities you require for a relaxing family holiday.
Downstairs there is an impressive fully fitted fabulous contemporary oak kitchen boasting all the usual amenities, with a large dining table which can comfortably seat 12 - perfect for special occasions and for a larger party if booked together with another of our cottages - on the wall there is a 42" LED tv. You will also find a comfortable lounge, which boasts a stone fireplace and gas wood burner, another 42" LED widescreen television, DVD, and CD Hi-Fi. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom, which is en-suite with a king size bed, a spacious double room which adjoins the luxury bathroom, a twin bedroom offering lovely country views and a single bedroom. There is also a fully fitted luxury bathroom with an extremely inviting corner bath and overbath shower, together with another shower room.
This is an Ideal cottage for a relaxing family holiday - Rose Cottage has a total of 4 bedrooms & sleeps 7 guests in complete comfort.
Our pool and spa, which is heated to around 36c with spa and swimjets, and our leisure complex is for the exclusive use of guests in our luxury cottages.

Rose Cottage has four bedrooms - a king size bed in the ensuite master bedroom, a spacious double room with adjoining bathroom, together with twin and single bedrooms and a further 2 bathrooms and sleeps seven guests in complete comfort. There is a gas woodburner in the lounge, and Rose Cottage is fully double glazed and gas centrally heated.
The amazing large contemporary oak kitchen dining room with every appliance you could wish for and a big table which comfortably seats 12 adults mean you will be able to prepare and enjoy meals for special occasions - we even have a private chef available to pre-book should you wish to take a holiday from cooking too!

Outside there is a large patio and lawns where you can sit and relax or enjoy alfresco dining and even a BBQ for the outdoor chef! Our wonderful indoor pool and spa, heated to a warming 36 is virtually unique and very popular with our many regular customers. There’s a children’s adventure play area with several large trampolines - including an all new large Super Bouncer with safety net surround, swings and climbing frame. A range of quality new mountain bikes, adults, teenagers and child’s are available to hire at very reasonable rates for you to cycle from Rose Cottage and join the famous nearby Tarka Trail, the 180 mile dedicated scenic cycling and walking route where an excellent cafe is renowned by our regulars for their tasty breakfasts and famous Devonshire cream teas.
We also have a well equipped gym,games room,indoor badminton court,tennis court, a relaxing garden room adjoining the indoor pool complex and of course there is complimentary high speed WiFi.

“Fun packed holiday - suits whole family”
Great location handy for lots nice beaches. So much to do on site that you will never be bored. Friendly, helpful owners and comfortable, spacious cottage - would love to return.

We stayed for one week at the beginning of June in Rose Cottage. The property was in excellent condition, best kitchen i think i've ever had in a holiday home, huge dining room table, and very comfortable lounge. All bedrooms were very well decorated and beds got rave reviews. I'm not exaggerating, it was that good. The farm had badminton court, tennis court, pool, nice outside seating, and working farm with many animals for our 7 month old to gawp at. Would recommend a stay at Combrew to anyone
“Fantastic - soooo sad to leave”
WOW! Great accommodation,comfy beds,clean, well equipped, quiet and peaceful. The pool was wonderful, warmest pool we have been in, love the bubbles at the one end. Our grandson loved the play area and feeding the huge rabbit! The weather was very kind to us so we didn't make full use of the other facilities, but we will when we return next year. Great location, easy to go off exploring north Devon. Could go on and on about how wonderful it is and how much we enjoyed ourselves and how sad we were to leave but highly recommend you book and try it yourselves! We will definitely be returning.

Very comfortable stay in Rose Cottage, spacious and clean. We were met on arrival and shown around. Good amenities on site, so plenty to do when not out and about, and enjoyed feeding the goats every evening. Good location for getting around. The only downside is that although we had a dog friendly cottage, they weren't allowed to toilet in the garden - (which was lovely) even though of course we would clear up after our dog ( as we have done elsewhere).
We had a lovely time and enjoyed the very high standard of the facility, the pool was perfect for us to enjoy each day. We enjoyed the surrounding area with plenty of places to visit and good pubs for food right on the door step.
“Perfect location to explore Devon and a wonderful cottage with great facilities”
Rose cottage is perfect! It's spacious and modern but also still has that cosy country feel. It has a huge kitchen diner with 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathroom/shower rooms as well as an extra loo downstairs. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party and the layout suited us perfectly. The pool was beautiful and we were lucky enough to time it right and have it to ourselves every day. The games room was good fun as was the play area next to the animals. The kids absolutely loved it!! Although we were lucky enough to have great weather we would have been fine just staying in and using the facilities (which is what the boys wanted to do most of the time anyway). We visited Fremington Quay, Instow, Appledore, Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe which were all very near and I thoroughly recommend. We had a great holiday and have booked for next year already - many thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely farm and thanks to the chickens for our fresh eggs every day !!
“Lovely cottage in quiet surroundings with plenty to do in the area”
This was our second stay in Rose Cottage and we loved the new bathrooms that have been put in since our last visit. Its a lovely, spacious cottage with everything you could need. The facilities on site are really good so you don't have to go anywhere if you just want to relax and unwind. We had good weather so we did get out and about in the area and there was plenty to do and some good restaurants for the days we didn't feel like cooking. The Tuckers are a lovely, welcoming family and very helpful if you need anything without being intrusive. Couldn't fault anything about our stay and we'll probably be back next year.
“Lovely cottage, great facilities and good location”
Our third holiday at Combrew so that should say it all! Rose cottage is spacious with a large open plan kitchen and dining area which we spent a lot of time in. It is clean with all the amenities you need. There is a lot to do on the farm itself with a lovely warm swimming pool, games room, outdoor play area and badminton and tennis court. Location is great only a couple of miles from Barnstaple town yet you are in the countryside. Close to the Tarka trail you can hire bikes from the farm at very good rates. You always get a warm welcome and the smallest of things like the wine, biscuits, eggs (from the farm), milk, tea and coffee on arrival are a lovely touch. We would highly recommend Combrew cottages.

We had an excellent time during our stay. All of the amenities located at the cottage and surrounding areas we're fantastic for our extended party which ranged in age from 22 to 83. Our longest journey to anywhere we visited was at most 30 minutes, which was Ilfracombe. Rose Cottage, had 4 toilets and 3 showers, and one large bathroom with a corner bath! On top of this, one of the toilets is on the ground floor, which was great for the elder members of our party. We enjoyed it so much, that we have already booked to return next year!
