From the owner

Lovely renovated 2 bedroom cottage with a 300m2 closed-off garden located in a breath-taking area. The neighbourhood is surrounded by the sea when the tide is in; as there is a beautiful estuary a 5 minute walk from the house. There is also a huge sandy-beach 5 minute walk away with views across to Jersey and dunes. It is lovely to be able to hear the sea from the house at night.The garden is quiet, charming, surrounded by trees and truly enjoyable. It is ideal for children to play safely and adults to enjoy a BBQ with local fresh fish and meat. As the house is located in a seaside resort, the atmosphere in the neighbourhood is happy and relaxing; you feel on holiday straight away! We purchased this property in July 2004 to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, a warm sea and sunny weather in Normandy and forget all about work, traffic and bricks. We also enjoy very much our property in the Winter as it is a truly charming place (with a brand new boiler and an efficient heating system).

There is a Wi-Fi box in the house from April to September.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Coralie (the owner) a message.

If Coralie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
