“Brilliant location and lovely holiday home.”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2013

I stayed here with my husband, daughter, mum, dad and sister and there was plenty of room. It was such a bonus to have a travel cot, stairgates and highchair for my baby daughter, plus a cupboard to store the pushchair. The property is right on the high street so you are never far from anything, just a couple of minutes away from the lovely sandy beach. Everybody loved the window seat in the lounge for people watching! Overall a great place to stay and we all definitely want to go back next year.

“Second visit just as good as the first”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

Have just had our second stay at Glanmorgan and hope to return next year. Can't fault it- excellent ,very comfortable accommodation with all you need for a family self-catering holiday. Perfect location for all parts of Barmouth. All we said in a previous review still applies and we strongly recommend the property. The on-line reviews and those in the property guest book all agree that this is an great place to stay.

“We loved it!”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2013

We were so impressed with Glanmorgan. It is conveniently located to everything. You can walk to pubs, restaurants, beach and harbor. The lounge is lovely and light and has a cute window seat and modern comfortable decor, it's open to a lovely kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is light and pretty and the shower works great. We were a family of five and we booked this for two weeks, it really couldn't have been any better. The owners have thought of everything, they have Wi Fi, and they even provided a parking pass, so we didn't have to worry about parking. We would love to come back.

“Have already booked again!”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2012

It was lovely to be met by Andrew and shown round the excellent accommodation. Everywhere was clean and very well equipped and we couldn't fault Glanmorgan at all. Given the very mixed weather we had, it was great to have such a comfortable place to come home to. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the accommodation especially as children were welcome- they loved the bunk beds! All our dealings with Andrew about the booking and any queries were answered immediately and it all felt much more personal than dealing with an agency. We already knew Barmouth very well but for any first time visitor, Glanmorgan is in a great position for shops, the beach and walking in the old town area. We have already booked our next stay!

“Fantastic holiday let, in a great position.”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2012

Beautiful house, well decorated and very well equiped. Everything you could possibly need in a holiday let, and in a great position. Although it is right in the centre of Barmouth, not at all noisy and very clean and well maintained. We had teenagers and young children in the group and the house worked well for everyone. Lovely to be met by the owner, Andrew and shown around. Has to be one of the best holiday houses around!

“Fantastic property - beautifullly presented in a great location”

Reviewed 1 Oct 2011

We had an absolutely fabulous week staying in Glanmorgan, and really can't recommend it highly enough. The owner was there to greet us on arrival and showed us everything we might need to know about the property, which was beautifully clean and really well presented throughout, and about the town itself. He was also really helpful after our stay when we got halfway home and realised we'd left a small but important part of the sat nav somewhere in the house, tracking it down and posting it to us! The property is beautifully decorated and full of character with lots of original features, and our two young boys loved exploring. They especially loved the bunk beds... Barmouth was a proper old-fashioned seaside town with donkey rides, ice-cream parlours and one of the best beaches we've come across. There were beautiful scenic views across the estuary from the hill behind the town which were well worth a bit of a steep walk. All in all, we were absolutely delighted with Glanmorgan - one of the best holiday properties we've ever stayed in and one of the most helpful and friendly owners.

“great holiday for all ages-home from home”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2011

Andrew has everything you need for a great holiday in this three story town house. Beach rivals all the european beaches and a true welsh old fishing village. A few shops so a feeling of village life lives on but enough to surply and keep you for your Holiday. Try the great fish and chips in the Mermaid and for more and Sunday lunch try The Captains Table. Andrew takes pride in his Holiday Home and it shows. Great Holiday and thank you.
