There is a dedicated parking space for one car within a private parking area close to the house. If requested a car pass can also be provided for the Barmouth main car park - a 10 minute walk from the house.

Anchorage View is situated over 4 floors with two reception rooms and 4 bedrooms. Perfect for families but laid out so that it can be easily used as a cosy get-away for two.

There is a comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor with an elegant four poster bed. On the first floor is the kitchen and living space which has great views, this has been set up within dining and sofas so it is perfect for day time living and provides a cosy integrated living space for smaller groups. One of the single rooms is also situated on this floor.

On the way up to the second floor is the shower room. The second floor incorporates the second double bedroom with original wooden beams and a further single room. The third floor is accessed by narrow steps, with height restrictions, and is a den/TV area perfect for movie watching and a hideaway for the kids.

Whilst retaining many original features this property provides comfortable modern living.

The house is a listed property, built around 1860, with character features including exposed beams which limits the headroom to the upper floors.

Whilst the house is suitable for children it should be noted that due to the construct of the original staircase, stairgates cannot be installed. Although there are doors on all rooms that access the stairs so toddlers can be constrained to rooms. Additionally one of the single rooms is on a different floor to the main bedroom and hence is probably more suited for an older child.

Well behaved pets are considered, please contact us prior to booking.

Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Barmouth nestle's between the sea and the hills and is perfect for exploring the Snowdonia region whilst still retaining the comfort of town facilities. Barmouth boasts beautiful blue flag beaches and is a popular seaside location, with crabbing off the harbour and paddle boarding available, there is something for everyone. The house sits at the start of the Mawddach trail which is a beautiful flat estuary trail for cyclists and walkers. For the more adventurous there are plenty of hills, we are a short drive from Cader Idris, a great climb, and 10 miles from Coed-y-Brenin a fabulous mountain cycle centre. Great location for beach lovers or those who have an outdoors adventurous spirit.
