Description

NB: For peace of mind, in addition to our usual thorough cleaning procedure, we will be using a ‘disinfecting fogging’ machine to sanitise hard surfaces, carpets and soft furnishings in every room. Also, please note any deposits paid will be refunded in full should there be a further lockdown etc.

Tre Mynach is a stunning, recently renovated, holiday cottage that sits in a prime elevated location overlooking the picturesque seaside town of Barmouth. Converted from what used to be the gymnasium of the Old Tower House School with views over its own woodland area out to sea. Open plan living, high ceilings in the main room and Maple wooden floors throughout give the cottage a feeling of space; and as the property is elevated the majority of the windows offer breath-taking views across Cardigan Bay and the mountains of North Wales. Tre Mynach is a gated property with private parking and there are numerous terraces and patios, all with wicker furniture, for guests to sit and enjoy the view in all directions and watch the sun set over the sea (subject to availability!).

Tre Mynach has 3 bedrooms all en-suite (1 double bedroom/en-suite with separate bath and shower, 1 double bedroom/en-suite with shower and 1 single bedroom/en-suite with shower).

Tre Mynach is just a short walk to the town and beach and therefore a car isn't necessary.

Suitable for couples or families but please note the property is accessed from the main drive by 13 steps or from the upper drive by 7 steps.

Tre Mynach sleeps 5 people plus a cot is available if required. A Z bed (for an additional child) can be made available if discussed before booking with the owner. Arrive after 4pm, vacate by 10am.

The rental cost includes heating, lighting, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, Sky TV (sports, movies etc packages) and BT Sport package.

Out of season the owners are happy to discuss a discount for parties of 2 people (minimum 4 nights). This period will cover November, December (excluding Christmas/New Year), January and February (excluding half term).

Tre Mynach welcomes one (possibly two) well behaved small dogs (£35 per dog supplement).

“Perfect high end holiday home for self isolating during this pandemic.”

Third visit to this lovely property for our 3 adult and 2 small dog family. We come back because it gives us everything we want. Quality , great location,comfortable accommodation, close to sea, sand, and beautiful countryside in the Snowdonia National Park. Self isolation and self catering in our "bubble " couldn't have been better. Back next year but hopefully without covid 19 concern Deborah H knows her stuff, Gets it right 1st time.

Our second visit this year to this beautiful house and can't wait to return again, set in an amazing position with lovely views of the sea, fantastic spacious & well kept garden area with lovely seating areas in different positions around the house. Inside of the house is gorgeous, furnished and decorated beautifully and so well equipped with everything you could need for a wonderful holiday, beautiful bedrooms all with en suites. Loved watching the birds on the feeder in the garden and relaxing in the lovely conservatory. The owners are very helpful and friendly and have obviously put a lot of thought, care and hard work into making this a wonderful holiday home. As longstanding visitors to Barmouth this is by far our favourite place! Look forward to our next holiday.
