Description from owner

Description

Beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment, overlooking the harbour, with parking, courtyard garden, decked terrace and huge shared gardens with the best views in town. Just metres away from 'the secret beach'. This property is perfectly positioned to do it all, situated on the tip of Snowdonia National Park, for amazing walks or just sit back and take in the view. The picturesque harbour and town is just down the road, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. The property is fully equipped for up to four in two bedrooms. There is a family bathroom and a utility leading to an additional toilet.

Further details

The flat is suitable for up to four people. Mobile phone reception can be a bit patchy depending on provider.

Further details indoors

No. 1, Orielton Hall offers modern open plan living with the most beautiful views. The comfortable living, dining and kitchen area is fully equipped and overlooks the picturesque Barmouth Harbour. Both bedrooms have doors leading out into the pretty courtyard garden. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and the rear bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds for children, however, our letting license only allows for a maximum of 4. The bathroom has a spa bath and separate shower with body jets. There is also a utility room leading onto another WC. Mobile phone coverage can be patchy.

Further details outdoors

Leading out from the kitchen and bedrooms is a pretty courtyard slate garden with a water feature. Stairs rising up from the garden lead onto a sheltered terrace with fabulous views of the harbour, perfect for summer evenings! Another set of stairs lead up to Orielton Hall's shared garden. This has to be one of the best viewpoints in the whole of Barmouth, offering panoramic views across the estuary and Cardigan Bay. Please ensure children are supervised in the courtyard garden and the shared garden.

There is one off road parking space available at front of the property. There are stone steps up to the front of this property.

Directly across the road from Orielton Hall is a small gate, beyond which is a beautiful park that leads under the railway bridge to a stunning small beach.

“Fantastic Few Days”

Reviewed 12 Nov 2018

Thanks for an excellent few days. Great location close to town with Barmouth Bridge on your doorstep. The apartment was first class really nicely finished with plenty of space. The garden outside overlooking the bay is spectacular, would definitely like to visit again.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your review, glad you enjoyed it!

“Wonderful flat and wonderful view”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2018

Plenty to do and see in Barmouth, but really the best part for us was the great flat - so spacious and attractively decorated that we would have enjoyed our stay anyway - but what a view! And when we climbed up through the secret gardens at the back the place just kept on improving! We will certainly return next year.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your lovely review, it really means a lot to us.

“Lovely appartment by the sea.”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2018

From the moment we walked through the door we felt at home. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. The views from the appartment and secret garden are stunning. An awful lot of time and love has gone into making this a wonderful place to stay whilst on holiday in Barmouth. We feel privileged to have stayed here and hope to return again very soon Thank you Elaine

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we're so glad you enjoyed Barmouth.

“an amazing apartment in an amazing place, with the beach so close.”

My husband and I have just returned from 1 week stay at Orielton Hall. It is a fantastic place, the apartment has everything you could wish for. It is so spacious, more than big enough for 2 people. My parents came to join us for 2 nights and it was brilliant. The beds are so comfy, never had such soft fluffy towels and the views from the lounge are gorgeous. The private terrace is perfect and the shared garen has amazing views over the Barmouth beach and town.It is only a 5 min walk down the hill into the town of lovely shops and restaurants. There is not 1 thing I would change about this apartment as the owners have thought of everything. We would definitly return.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your wonderful review, it makes me wish we were there again too!

“Lovely apartment in a good location”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2015

Lovely location for a short break. The apartment lived up to expectations - it was clean, comfortable and was even better than it looked in photos on website. Overall, a very relaxing few days.

“Lovely quiet weekend in outstanding surroundings”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2014

Wife decided we were going away for our pearl wedding anniversary me being a miserable old so and so I was not too exited. We arrived to find a very clean well furnished appartment, lovely soft beds, big telly and glorious sea views and after a nice cuppa on the terrace overlooking the sea I began to melow a little. In the evening a short walk took us into Barmouth where we had a choice of nice restaurants. Cant let wifey get away with organising a brilliant weekend so I spent a while trying every light switch, tap, bed, checked the pattern on the wallpaper lined up and many other things. I found some faults, the satelite tv channels had different numbers to my home tv and you have to push the ice dispenser twice to fill your glass with ice so I at least had somethings to moan about on the way home.

“Everything you need for a perfect break”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2014

Situated overlooking the Estuary the apartment provides a marvellous panoramic view of Barmouth. and the surrounding mountains. The accommodation is extremely well appointed and modern with everything provided for a very relaxing stay including comfortable lounger, furniture and beds Special mention for the private balcony in a prime position which is very relaxing particularly in the evening. as the sun goes down.Glass of wine optional !. As first time visitors to Barmouth we were very impressed with our accommodation, the town and the beaches. We certainly look forward to a further visit in the future..
